Perfect stay, but expect your bill to double
Everthing was perfect except for the unreasonable high price level of food, drinks etc. 8 EUR for a small bottle of water and 22 EUR for a drink is unfair. Great that you can rent a boat for self driving at the hotel, swimming pool is perfect and the service level of the staff is great, but as expected in this price category.

Great stay
Fantastisk opphold på et fantastisk hotel selv om det var noe dyre rom. Startet imidlertid veldig bra med fri oppgradering av rommet. Alt var egentlig veldig bra med unntak av ekstremt dyre restauranter på hotel anlegget. Rent og fint og veldig hyggelig personalet. Flott og romslig spa avdeling.

Highly recommended
A truly magical place to visit and highly recommended. The only thing lacking to make it perfect would be the service. They seem to be trying to hard, with too many people involved to solve simple requests such as paying a bill (3 people) or getting a bag from the storage (4 people) This is also true for the breakfast were there was a lack of leadership and too many staff working on each table which lead to things being forgotten. I believe when the staff will be allowed to stress down and focus on the guest and not their spesialist task, the experience would be world class. Its a resort, the guests are not in a rush. Good luck and I look forward to visiting soon again.

Vi hadde noen rolige dager på Casta Diva i oktober 12. Stedet bar preg av at det var utenom sesong. Nesten ingen gjester. Veldig skuffet over maten. På et hotel med vakker beliggenhet og rom for rekreasjon bør måltidene være noe man gleder seg til. Buffet med tørt brød og kjedelig pålegg uten egg eller annet varmt som man forventer av et 5 stjerners hotell. Vi ble anbefalt å ikke bestille forkost på rommet fordi den kunne være kald når den kom frem!! 5 stjerners hotell?? Det ble spilt klassisk musikk i alle rom, og denne var til tider veldig forstyrrende. Hyggelig med musikk, men det skulle vært roligere og lavere. For å komme til andre restauranter må man bruke taxi eller shuttelbuss. Eneste er at siste bussen inn til Como går kl. 17 og det er litt tidlig for middag. SPA avdelingen var fantastisk, og personalet generelt var veldig hyggelige. Huset er vakkert og resepsjonen i vakre farger og en sjarmerende bar. De andre stuene mangler intimitet og koselig atmosfære. Dette skal være en spa resort og man forventer at man knapt har lyst forlate stedet når man er der, men slik er det dessverre ikke. Men tanke på at vi hadde tidligere kvelder og skulle slappe av skulle vi ønske vi kunnen leie en film på TV på kvelden, men de hadde ikke noe slikt. Kun dubbede kanaler. Como sjøen er fantastisk og beliggenheten nydelig, men tviler på at vi kommer tilbake til dette hotellet.

Beautiful but not worth the money you pay
Lovely hotel. However, our room was sooo small. They could have at least miunt the TV to the wall to open some space. They have a table to place things on but they should place a dresser. We had one very small closet. They gave us a room all the way on the top of hill and so if you wanted assistance with golf cart, you would feel obligated to tip so imagine doing it 5 or 6 times. You jist spend your day tipping all day. Expensive stay for not a very comfortable stay.

Disappointing Stay.
2nd time at this property/resort since June 2021. Definitely not the caliber of the Mandarin Oriental Hotels like Bangkok, Barcelona or Miami. Work needed in terms of hospitality like staff re-training. Was better in 2021. Has definitely gone downhill since.

This hotel is just perfection, the team is super welcoming, they make us feel at home. Tuki ( my dog) is always filled with surprises and details, as well as us. Food was extremely disappointing. The staff was terrible, unprofessional, and did not communicate with one another. Mandarin is supposed to be a world class resort and service. I wish I could dispute these charges but I don’t know how… it was horrendous. Spending 3500-4000$ A NIGHT for terrible food and service is very sad. I even went to the pool one day and they were full and I had to sit and wait for a chair 1 hour. I am a big client of yours on Expedia but this was a terrible experience.

PERFECTION!!!
This hotel is just perfection, the staff is excellent, all the details are flawless! I just want to congratulate everyone for this amazing experience, I’ve been going several times to the hotel and everything is super curated and makes you feel like luxury at its maximum. All the staff makes you and you family feel at home, kudos to Miriana and Silvia and all their restaurant staff, all of whom are very knowledgeable and friendly. Also if you gave a dog they make sure he feels super welcome.Will certainly come back!

Premium hotel services in Lago Como
This hotel is the epitome of elegance, good service, and hospitality amongst all the MO hotels we have stayed. As a fan of MO, the amenities received would pamper every sense. The breakfasts were exceptionally good and sumptuous. The bistrot food was good but portions were tiny. Overall, the hotel and grounds in front of the lake are enough to warrant a memorable stay.

Beautiful Stay
Our experience overall was great. The service was excellent, something you should expect at a luxury hotel at this price point. We stayed (2) nights at the hotel and enjoyed celebrating our engagement here. Spa: We used the thermal room spa 2/2 days due to some cloudy weather. The spa staff greeted us and gave us rooms to change into while we waited for our room to be ready. The spa staff was friendly and very accommodating to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Spa staff! Dining: There are (2) main restaurants on site. We ate at both and thought the food was great, just a little on the pricy side in comparison to normal 'Italy' prices. The Japanese inspired food was good, but being from California it wasn't much different than what we see here. We had breakfast in the mornings which were also complimentary with our stay. Transportation/Boat rentals This is where I'd say the hotel lacked in service. The hotel itself has a shuttle that brings you into the town of Como each night for dinner. There was only (1) shuttle and 6-people per car. The first night they messed up on our reservation but the bar manager gave us a complimentary drink for waiting another 40-min.They have a tesla on site but charge for this? Odd. Boat rentals were expensive at 600 EUR for 2-hours and not guaranteed the wooden boats. We rented a self-drive boat instead for 60 EUR an hour since they couldn't promise a wood boat. This is a must stay resort!
Wow! That is all we can say. The property is stunning and it is an amazing location right on the lake. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. They made it a point to know every guests name.
