Very good location, very friendly and helpful stuff, great breakfast buffet which you can enjoy on the roof top terrace. I'll definitely come again when visiting Bishkek.

We stayed 3 nights at the Ambassador Hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious with big windows that opened for fresh air. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom modern and nice. The rooptop restaurant was lovely for breakfast, but also nice to just sit and take it easy midday with a book and a pot of tea. The staff were friendly and helpful both before and during our stay. I'd emailed prior to arriving with several questions regarding transport to/from the Bishkek Airport and the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border that they were able to arrange, and their response time was excellent. The location of the hotel is ideal; just a couple blocks from Ala-too Square, Panfilov Park, and other nice sights. Amazing restaurants are a mere block away. Would be delighted to stay here again. Highly recommend!!

The property is in a great location with easy access to an excellent block of restaurants. But the property did not have a fully working restaurant during our visit -- only a breakfast buffet until 10:00am and then the Times Bar that opened on the top floor at noon. Room service was nonetheless available. The bed in the room was also rock hard, but the cleaning staff was good to find two foam mattresses to place on top and to soften it. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

Overall, it was a great stay. Our only real complaint was that the rooms got too hot (and no way to adjust the thermostat). They turned the central heating on and it was an unusually warm time. The location is great and the staff overall are great, too.

I booked for Ambassador Hotel but they put me in their sister chain Solutel. No complaint there. They upgraded my room, extended my check-out time. The reception at front desk was always helpful and with a big smile. Not a lot of choices at breakfast table but they offered made-to-order omelette, egg Benedict, waffles, etc. The hotel was within 2 blocks to restaurants and 3 blocks to city centre. I would definitely stay there again.

My stay
Staff is very helpful and friendly. I loved the balcony and being able to open windows. Balcony I had is small but it was great to step outside right from my room. Nice high ceilings and a large bathroom and shower. Just wish there was an ironing board in room. Their laundry service was great and priced right. There is construction of a new building going on next door. It was of no bother to me.

I always stay at this hotel when travel to Bishkek. It is 360 degrees great. I feel comfortable, safe, well served and taken care of. Recommend it to anybody who plans a trip to Bishkek.

Superb hotel close to main touristic attractions
Excellent and cozy medium size hotel. I believe the hotel was recently renewed, because everything looked nice. Both the bathroom and the room were cozy and confortable. A very important aspect from the tourist point of view was the staff members. They were exceptionally educated, helpful, and with easy communication in English. They were always available to help you. The hotel was very close the several restaurants and the main touristic attractions. The hotel restaurant was in the last floor,with a nice view of the city. The waitress was cordial and helpful.

In the city centre, convenient for walking around
I was in Bishkek for a conference and this hotel was a good base. It is smaller than expected but the rooms were well appointed and the staff was extremely helpful. They helped me with transportation, telling the taxi drivers where I wanted to go; there is a pleasant room top cafe and a lovely breakfast room. The breakfast has a good selection, not lavish but you could also order main breakfast dishes from a menu that was included as part of the buffet, they have excellent eggs Benedict. I did not see the gym as it was in the building next door and I really didn't have the time anyway. I found the location excellent for walking around to the different shops and parks in the central part of the city.

Acolhimento sempre simpático, com procedimentos rápidos e permanente disponibilidade para atender às necessidades dos hóspedes. Os quartos variam no espaço e na comodidade, o que me foi atribuído era suficientemente espaçoso, com tudo o necessário para uma estadia agradável. Pequeno-almoço honesto, de novo com disponibilidade total do pessoal para atender aos nossos pedidos, havendo uma lista de possibilidades gratuitas à disposição. O hotel pode tratar dos transfers de e para o aeroporto, por um preço razoável. A localização central do hotel é uma mais-valia. O preço conseguido nesta reserva foi adequado à qualidade do serviço que foi prestado.

A tale of two hotels: Ambassador and Solutel
As background, the Ambassador and Solutel hotels are under the same management and are next door to each other. They are also in the city's "Golden Quad" that includes many embassies, restaurants and shops. In fact, the Ambassador is next door to the French embassy. The maids are dressed in a classic French style. Coincidence? Solutel is newer. Ask a random local where the Ambassador hotel is, and they likely will know. Ask them about the Solutel, and they likely will not know. Decor in the Ambassador is generally more formal, and in the Solutel more modern. For example, the breakfast room in the Ambassador shows a news channel on the HDTV (in Russian), while the same for the Solutel shows music videos (in whatever language it was recorded in). Personally, I find the Ambassador hotel breakfast room hot and stuffy. Also, the Solutel has a patio so you can have your breakfast outside, when weather permits. Breakfasts offer a good variety. The room HDTVs offer a large selection of channels. However, most are in Russian. In English, BBC, Euronews, Food Network, Fine Living, and a very few others are available. The hotel photos provided do a good job of representing the hotels and the rooms. There is only one sauna that is for both sexes, which discouraged my wife from using it: who wants a half-naked old man next to you? Management should consider providing hours of access for each gender.

綺麗で清潔、場所も良くコストパフォーマンス最高
前回は出張で宿泊して良かったので、今回はプライベートでも選んで滞在しました。 ホテルは大きくはないが、施設も比較的新しくとても清潔です。場所と内容を考えるとBishkekで一番コストパフォーマンスがいいと思います。 チェックインの際に身分証明書から家内の誕生日だと思ったらしく、夜にはシャンパンとケーキを用意してくれていて、気配りに感動しました。 部屋はモダンな雰囲気でありながら高級感もあります。アメニティもそろっていて良かったです。 場所は中心部まで徒歩圏でありながら静かでが、回りが工事中なのでそこだけ唯一残念。

The rooms are very comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, and large (separate living and bed rooms). Much better than I expected from the photos. I would definitely stay there again.

Good value for money
Nice hotel, great for the price paid, good location, really friendly staff. Single room where I stayed is a simple design but have everything you would need. Bed is ok and large enough for 1 person to sleep. Clean, everything works. Great for you to come to sleep and then next day to go for your meetings and business.

Good hotel overall - location, breakfast, value for money. Yet there are little things to improve - tea and soap were not refreshed during daily cleaning, annoying fan in the bathroom switching on together with the light which can't be switched off separately.
