Wonderful stay
Amazing one night stay at Aloft Birmingham. The room was spacious and beds were comfy. The hotel is very new and clean, we loved our time spent there!

Got an upgrade, the room is big but near to the lift, I could hear the bang sound and the door was shaking whenever my neighbours come back. Bathroom is nice, lovely walking shower, would be even better if there is some hanger near to the shower that I could hang my towel. Breakfast is a bit disappointing, there is not fruit available. I ordered mushroom and found egg shell in it, I don’t understand why because I didn’t order egg. Not a big issue but not so nice..

Good clean room with comfortable bed and hot shower. TV signal was poor though - kept freezing. Might just be a poor connection in the room. The staff went out of their way to recover my phone charger which I left behind on the bedside table. Initially they said it had not been found but a further investigation involving the hotel manager and housekeeping manager revealed that it had been found but was marked up against a different room number. The restaurant is awful - menu looks great but food was just microwaved ready meals! They should employ a trained chef at those prices. Also wanted £12 advance payment for breakfast (£15 on the day) - there was no option for a light tea and toast. The staff had no ability to compromise on this so ended up getting a croissant and tea from a local coffee shop for £5. In summary for a decent night stay in a clean room with hot shower - this is an excellent place and 5-stars. But the restaurant is well below par - like you would find in low-end hotel chains and the no-options breakfast needs attention so zero stars for this !!!

Great New year stay.
I booked a suite for my partners birthday and an evening meal. Amazing room and food both for evening meal and breakfast great. Parking off site cost around £10 for 24 hours. Staff all really friendly. We will return for sure. There was NYE private party, and we where invited to join them. Brilliant New year!!

I recently had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the room was spacious and clean, and the amenities were top-notch. The room was absolutely great, excellent facilities and couldn’t fault it. However, when we arrive there was only one lift working and the next day there were no lifts at all. We had two small children, a buggy and a room in the top floor so this was obviously not ideal!
