«Overall great place and experience. Few things to note: There is no washer / dryer as described in the listing. The mattresses were hard as a rock, but I slept great anyways. The place was immaculately appointed and cleaned. The showers did not get more than luke warm, it sucked a bit. The water was hot everywhere else, but the showers while beautiful, also need to be hot. A few details need to be addressed, but I would go back once again.»

«Mike's place was absolutely perfect. He was so fantastic to work with. I had originally booked for a Christmas Celebration with my parents and family in Big Rapids and when my father very unexpectedly was moved into hospice, Mike was able to accommodate my request to come early on very short notice. Mike I can't thank you enough for your graciousness and such an amazing place to stay for that period of time. Thank you again.»

«The cottage was perfect for our trip. The bunk bed with a trundle was great for the teens while the adults were comfortable in the other two bedrooms (we didn’t have need for the Murphy bed in the living room, but if we had a larger group, it was another sizable bed! The bed linens and towels were all new and the appliances, too. I always appreciate a place with a washer and dryer, and they provided detergent. «The Little Log Cabin in the Big Woods was the perfect little getaway we needed to relax and unwind! It was clean, cute, and cozy, and had all the amenities we needed. We loved walking the trail and being so secluded in the middle of nature. Mike was great to work with and communicated well with everything we needed to know about our stay. This was an amazing way to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday and are looking forward to staying here again! »

«The property was perfect for our needs. It was very clean and well equipped. We didn’t have time to go out on the lake, but everything was there for us…ready to go! The only downside was the dirt roads leading to the property. Be prepared for a very bumpy ride…lol…and watch for Amish horse and buggies. Once you get there it’s just beautiful…especially with the fall colors. Just gorgeous!!!»

«We had a nice stay. The beds were comfortable. We didn’t spend much time at the house during the day and it was kinda rainy when we were there so we did not get to enjoy the large deck and river location but it lots of comfortable outdoor chairs and dining table.»

«I had an absolutely wonderful stay. When I arrived, it was becoming clear that it was going to snow overnight and then get very very cold. I was thankful to have restaurants and grocery stores close! After stocking up for the weekend, I just stayed put, and relaxed, and really enjoyed the view of the river as I sipped tea and let the world melt away. Didn’t get to XC ski or FatBike, I was just too cozy. Maybe next time. Definitely will be a next time. This was just what I needed:)»

«Loved the style. Very clean. Great views of the trees and river. Easy path down to the river and listening to the water was very relaxing. Communication with Sarah was fabulous.
