Wow!!! I have to tell you I’ve been to 98 countries over 350 times. So I use hotels a lot. The staff at Smallville have become such a family away from home and the hotel itself is immaculate. Anytime I go to Beirut I usually stay here 1-2 nights of my trip. Love this place!!! Maurice

payed twice online for expedia then at the reception (don’t know who’s responsible expedia or the employee at smallville). you have to give your car for the valet by a sudden annoying decision from the administration so carrying the luggage and walking for a mile is a must cz no near parking place. btw (i waited 15 minutes at the entrance and there was no valet.

Overall a great hotel, some issue with thr fixtures and drainage in the bathroom, but nothing serious. Had a couple of ants show up during my stay, again nothing serious. Room service food could use an upgrade for sure, tried a variety of options and was less than impressed.

Nice, but not worth the price
Cute, quirky themed hotel. I give top marks to the room itself as it was comfortable and very well equipped. Location was not great, not much around. Front desk staff were efficient and friendly, however i went to the top floor restaurant and had terrible service on both occassions. For the price i think you can do much better in Beirut.

Property is unique. Modern and cozy at the same time. There is a superhero theme across the hotel, which is very cool. Rooms are comfortable and light. Cleanliness is spot-on. There is a small variety of restaurants and bars, but everything was very good. Good breakfast, nice snacks and drinks in the top floor, with nice views of the city. Staff exceeds any expectations. They are genuinely friendly and helpful. Extremely helpful I would say. I'm happy with our experience in this hotel and cannot recommend more. Really impressed with their level of service.

overall, the hotel has a quite an interesting. It is high tech relative to hotels in Lebanon, comfortable and spacious room, nice décor and amenities to fulfill your needs. The area that management should pay better attention to is the service. The team is young, eager, but lacks the skillset and customer engagement that would make this hotel a winner. Perhaps management should invest in improving training for customer facing staff to serve customer needs better. It happened that while we were there, they were hosting a wedding. Obviously, with all the commotion, the staff was overwhelmed, and some calls to the front desk were left unanswered and heard comments that I should come down to the lobby to be served. This I find unacceptable.
