Staff were polite,engaging and so helpful.Room was so functional with even an oven.Finally a reasonably sized tv within eye level and not put high up on the wall.Restaurant menu excellent and beverages reasonably priced for a hotel.

It wasn’t cleaned at all. There was poop on the seat. Stains on the pillows and bedding. Tables weren’t wiped down. Mold or something near the bathroom. All of it was gross

VR apartments were well equipped in the kitchenette and clean. Staff were helpful. The only problem was the shower head in our bathroom wasn’t working properly and wifi in bedrooms wasn’t great

The room was clean and compact, and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. It was in a great location; walking distance to the viaduct, Ponsonby and K Rd. The king-size bed was lovely but there were only three pillows…be great to have two pillows each. Also, it would be great to have more security for the stored luggage. We left our bags at the hotel before and after we checked out; both times we came to collect them the storage room was open and unlocked and no one checked what we were taking.

We thought that this hotel would require payment at checkin. But they attempted to take the prepayment without notice. As we don’t keep money in our account because of recent fraudulent transactions it was dishonoured. They complained by email while we were travelling to the airport. When we arrived there we attempted to make the payment but our phone went m flat & we had to put it the charger until there was sufficient power for us to make the payment which we did at 4.40pm.AET However, apparently they cancelled the booking at 4pm NZ. I will NOT stay there again.
The room was not clean, there where stains on the curtains and stains on the chairs. The room overall was worn out with freying carpet. The phone did not work and when I reported this I was told it's a weekend so they can't do anything about it, so I was not able to contact room service from my room and had to go down to reception when I needed anything, very frustrating. When I pulled the curtains to close them there were a pair of socks stuck in the corner (they did not belong to me) so the room had obviously not been vacuumed or sufficiently cleaned. The walls are thin and there was alot of noise. I could hear everything happening outside and in the hallway especially room service knocking multiple times on everyones door in the morning yelling room service. The bed sheets, pillows and towels were clean which gave me a bit of relief and got me through the 3 night stay. If I was with my family I would have checked out immediately and stayed in a different hotel. As it was me on my own I made it work. When my room was "cleaned" they only replaced the towels, cleared the rubbish bins and pulled the sheets up, they didn't make the bed and didn't replace the tea, sugar or coffee. The bed was also two single beds pushed together made to look like a large king bed.it was very uncomfortable as you can feel the join of the beds as you move towards the middle of the bed. For someone who has stayed in a number of hotels this stay was very underwhelming. I would not go back.

nice and neat, great location.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, had everything you wanted. hot plate/oven ppts n pans. only frw back was the foggy glass window between the bedroom and bathroom. just weird, and if someone goes to the bathroom in the night it lights up tje bedroom!

Great value and well situated for both K' road and the Queen street shops. Minor feedback was the hotel providing rooms with powdered 'creamer' rather than actual milk for the coffee. Figure if the room has a fridge you should get those uht milk capsules.

The property was run down - it implied there was a washer in the room, there was a very dilapidated laundry room. The 'kitchen' included a microwave whose buttons were taped on; a stove with no dials attached; and a refrigerator that was solid with dirty ice and hadn't been cleaned for a long time. The temperature gauge in the room didn't work - it was cold and I had to call twice so that someone could turn on the heat downstairs.
