Excellent service and staff. Customer service at the hotel was second to none! Especially when comparing them to Expedia customer service. The hotel staff was able to assist us with a refund when Expedia struggled.

The hotel employee was absolutely amazing. Very cordial and helpful. We checked in around 4 pm on the 9th of May. We did decide to walk back from the venue we attended (The Roxy). Encountered a few scary individuals but to no fault of the property. Room was clean and accommodating. Price point is definitely in line.

This is a nice property, clean, good breakfast and spacious meeting, dining area. My only criticism is the lack of communication between all the staff from morning to night shifts. My issue was finally resolved to my satisfaction, but it should not have been so hard.

Overall the hotel was nice. There were just small things that were frustrating. There wasn't a plug near the coffee maker, so had to move it to make coffee; very little hot water in the morning; no vent in the bathroom so it got really stuffy while showering; plugs between the bed were wide and charger blocks fell out. Breakfast was good. Service was excellent. Personal preference: would rather sinks be in the bathroom instead of in the room.

Even though I arrived almost at midnight, check in was nice and easy. The front desk man was very friendly and polite. He provided me with all the necessary info without me asking. The room was great, it was big, clean and even my husband liked the decoration. The only thing I wish I had was a microwave in the room. Other than that, great experience. I would definitely stay here again

Holiday Inn Express Smyrna, GA. Left passport in the lobby. I went back to look for it (I had a trip to Ireland for Christmas 2023 the next day) and it was gone (my only ID I had with me my trip would have been cancelled taking to my mother, who died that month) Twin found it. RiQuita helped with my Walking Pneumonia and drove me to the ER. I couldn't walk and collapsed at the front desk (could have died) I was alone, didn't know anyone in Atlanta. The floor that we stayed on had a dozen or more exhaust fans blowing during our stay as a result of a water leak on the floor above us.

I had to protest being given a room right out of the elevator with 2 non-stop powerful blowing fans on each side of the door on my arrival. Then my request for house keeping was confirmed, promised but not honored. Then on Saturday the breakfast area had to be closed for almost an hour during the service hour to wait for more food. This place sucked!

Check-in disaster, otherwise good
This hotel is in a great location for Braves games, concerts, etc., at Truist Park. About a half mile walk, not bad. Really everything about the hotel was good except the check-in experience. To be fair, many people showed up around the same time mid-afternoon to check in before the concert. However, there was only one person working the front counter and then there was a wait while rooms were being cleaned from the night before. To be clear, the person working the front counter, Tanisha, was very professional and hard-working in the face of an impossible situation. She just had no help.
