One elevator isn’t working and it’s a busy weekend with a game. The room and hallway has a funny oder. The ice machine on floor 10 isn’t working.

Walls and doors were in need of repair. No USB outlets. Room was small and cramped. Thermostat allowed the temp to be set at a low of 68 degrees. On a positive note, excellent water pressure.

Room was clean but too many maintenance issues that should have been addressed for the price of the room. Sink cracked, faucet loose, exhaust fan didn’t work, no in-room fridge. It’s been two years since we stayed here and parking is now $24 a night and it used to be free for guests. Bottom line is there are other options that are more desirable for less money.

We had an appointment at 4 (check in time) so we requested early check in. On arrival at 3:15, we were told our room was not ready. When we returned to check in after our appointment, they no longer had our room type available. Very disappointed

The staff at the bar/restaurant and breakfast were amazing. The room had a great view and overall was fairly clean. I was upset to see the pool was closed (even on a 25 degree day, had I known it was seasonal, I would have picked a different hotel.) The added parking fee was quiet expensive as well. I was charged every day at a rate of almost $30 CAD. Maybe this is due to the proximity of the ball felid, but shouldn’t be something guest should have to pay for- especially when games aren’t on. All this said, the staff made up for the pool and parking fees as they were above and beyond! Always smiling and always over the top accommodating!

The photos of the room advertised are not what they are in real life. Rooms and run down and old. For that price, could get a nicer room at a lower scale hotel. Shop around first.

Terrible hotel
Hotel is very run down. Very busy weekend only one elevator working. We had no hot water for two days and when we called the the front desk they sent up a maintenance and he was completely rude. Our tub leaked water continuously and there was gnats in the tub. The lock on the door did not work because it had been broken and there was a big hole in our door that had tape over it.

Restaurang and general staff are polite and amazing. Had a few issues will the front desk and "extra billing". Then a housekeeping member came in my room at 845am and asked me if I was checking out. When I said what time is checkout?? He responded with now. I called the desk clerk to ask what was going on and she said he was wrong. They gave me free drink vouchers and breakfast.. but I can't understand why I was double billed both nights and then told I needed to stop by the desk because I needed to pay taxes? I prepaid the room. Both nights. There is something going on with your desk and billing.

Service is amazing. Especially at the small lounge in the lobby. The only downside to my stay was the cleanliness of the room. I arrived after 2am and after a long travel day a hot shower was what I was looking forward to, the bathroom didn’t seem to have been cleaned properly. After speaking with the front desk the next morning it was taken care of by the time I returned.

The L1 level needs some updating. There were a lot of watermarks in the ceiling and it just didn’t feel as nice as the rest of the hotel.

We had to wait in line for 30 minutes to even get to the front desk to be told that they didn't have any rooms available. People were waiting for hours after the 3pm check in time to even get a room. We didn't have one assigned until we got back from our concert after 1 am.

The staff was rude and there were hundreds of people in the lobby and bar because they would not check anyone in until after 5pm when all the guests were there for an event that started at 5:30. People were having to get ready in the bathroom and returning their luggage to their vehicles. Absolutely unacceptable!!

Rooms need to be updated - especially the bathrooms. Paint is peeling from the ceiling, faucets were broken, and doors were in rough condition. Staff was very professional and respectful. Overall, hotel is good - just need better bathrooms.

Boo Hiss, terrible hotel and service
Overbooked hotel and was told because we booked through Hotels.com they gave our room away (w/2 beds for 3 people) instead gave us a room w/1 bed. Had to request a rollaway which they left at the door and my husband had to move into the room and drop it down-thought it was going to go through the floor! Sheets were filthy and nightstand had some nasty liquid spilled all over it. Bathroom was dirty and we only got 2 bath towels for 3 people. Toiletries in room were USED! At check in, the front desk clerk was put out to have to help us, continually kept helping other guests, would NOT make eye contact, failed to tell us where elevators were, where to park, that they charge an additional $35 parking fee, ask for $ for a cup of plain coffee?! Hotel has gone down the toilet, terrible service, disgusting room and nickel and dime for every little service that are provided by other hotel brands.
