The property was priced at a premium, and the amenities were limited. We were not told of construction happening in the lobby when we booked. Parking is a public garage offsite with no connecting doors or walkways and no valet service. I didn’t not feel safe walking half a block to my car at night to the parking garage if something was needed. The staff was not super helpful or accommodating. Lots of rules that aren’t in place at most hotels.

The location on College Avenue is great for walking to restaurants, shops and to Lawrence University. The hotel was very quiet, the beds are comfy and everything was super clean. The whirlpool was wonderful! I really appreciated the free Uber to the airport.

Everything was excellent. But do know many local restaurants including Rye are closed on Sundays. Parking is in garage behind hotel.

It was a very nice place to stay. If we’d been there longer than one night I would have asked for a room with a better view. Our only view were several large air handlers a few feet from our windows, along with a brick wall.

Spent the night so we could watch a comedy show, me and my partner for the most part walked everywhere we went comedy show, coffee shop, art museum. Still weird to charge for the treats separately but all in all very nice stay.

This hotel was wonderful - great location, incredibly nice staff at the front desk, and delicious restaurant (Rye) downstairs. Our only complaint is about the room directly above us because they paced back and forth and sounded like they were moving furniture until 3am but that's not the hotel's fault! Parking garage is directly behind the hotel and easy to access. Rooms were clean and the mini bar had a great selection! We will definitely book again.

It's the best hotel in Appleton. Always stay there when I'm in town. And their restaurant, Rye, is worth a trip to Appleton all on its own!

I expected more for what I paid.. opened the blinds and dust flew everywhere.the jetted tub handle fell off when I turned the water on.. I was able to fix that. Jetted tub did not work.. maintenance and front desk staff were great and fixed in in 30 min or less.. the shower although the water was hot had no water pressure. The room temp was either to hot or to cold so had to adjust the temperature multiple times. The heating vent had constant cold air coming out regardless of the temperature. USB ports on the night stand did not work.. like I said expected more or better for what we paid. I can't say enough about the staff, they were great!!!

I am delighted that Maintenance and our Reception Desk were able to fix your jetted tub, but all these deficiencies should have been fixed prior to your arrival.
