«Ein großes altes Haus mit Stil, mitten im Dorf und doch ganz ruhig. Das Restaurant in der Nähe hat eine hervorragende Küche, leider ist es nur am Wochenende geöffnet. Die Landschaft ist herrlich. Es gibt zahlreiche Weingüter die ausgezeichnete Weine zu vernünftigen Preisen anbieten. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.»

However, after renting holiday properties for almost 15 years we dare say that this one has let us down in several aspects. First and foremost it is not equipped sufficiently to serve 4 adults leave alone the 8 advertised. «Nous avons loué cette magnifique maison, une semaine où il a plu presque en continu. Et bien évidemment cela gâche beaucoup les vacances.. Néanmoins Federico et ses parents sont adorables, la maison est superbe( bien que peu adaptée selon moi aux familles avec bébé, car on accède aux chambres par un long escalier assez raide) . «We spent almost two weeks at this beautiful holiday home. The house was all we could dream of, and the hosts, Diane and Brian where so welcoming and kind. «A lovely apartment in an old house in the center of the village. Easy to get into Alba and to shops. Good walking around the village as well as paths close by through the vineyeards. Great space and fantastic views. Very comfortable and everything you need. Hosts also live on property - and while our Italian is very limited and they have little English - we communicated OK and they were very friendly and generous.»

«Ruhiger und entspannter, ursprünglicher Ort für erholsame Ferien. Etwas abseits gelegen, dies sollte man bei täglichen Fahrtstrecken einberechnen. Dafür wundervolle Gastgeber, 2 tolle Hunde und viel Ruhe und Beschaulichkeit. Wir haben zudem viel gelernt über das Kultivieren von Haselnüssen - die Tour mit Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen.
