«My husband and I spent a weekend at Lake Placid. Our room was comfortable, and the location was very convenient, within walking distance to restaurants. We were also grateful that there was parking on-site, which made it easy for us to drive back-and-forth to trailheads in the area.»

«One phone in the room did not work at all, but the other two did, so there was no problem. The pool area was great. The workout room was tiny: with only three machines. The location was very good: within walking distance of various eateries. The room was very clean. However, two of the white towels had stains on them and/or weren't clean (am not sure which). The bed and furniture were very comfortable.»

«Everything from the property was as expected but the surrounding around the lake in this area is surrounded by some back flies which bite and draw blood. This is not in any manner related to High Peaks Resort but affects the entire area around Mother’s Day to Father’s Day.»
