This two-story home directly on Pigeon Lake is a beautiful setting in any season. It is an ideal destination for family and friends looking to getaway to a quiet lake. Guests have direct lake access from the property and a public boat launch immediately nearby. Canoeing, kayaking, and excellent fishing are highlights of this beautiful 61-acre lake nestled in the heart of northern Indiana Amish country.
The Space:
Just a short drive from Shipshewana, this home is a great place to come back to after exploring the area!
The spacious main level features a master suite with a queen-size bed and a full bathroom complete with bathtub and a double vanity. The dining area provides stunning views of the lake to take in while you enjoy your morning coffee or a meal. The upstairs hosts the additional beds and second bathroom.
The back yard is a fantastic setting for relaxing around a cozy campfire, playing yard games or just enjoying the lake views.
The property is directly on the lake and is perfect for fishing or swimming. Spring-Fall a canoe, 4 kayaks and life jackets are available for use.
You are welcome to bring your own boat to dock at the pier. We do not have one to rent. Also, keep in mind that Pigeon Lake is a no wake lake with a 5mph speed limit
We supply a limited amount of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and dishwasher and laundry detergents. We want to help you enjoy your stay without needing to bring those things. However, if you're staying for a week or simply anticipating needing a larger supply, we encourage you to bring them or buy while you're in the area.
Guest Access:

Front door access is by electronic code provided after booking, 3 days prior to your stay.
There are 2 parallel parking spaces directly in front of the house. Please do not park facing the house or traffic will become blocked.
The Neighborhood:
Pigeon Lake is a quiet lake neighborhood, perfect for the guests looking to unwind in a calm setting and still enjoy the water.
Please be respectful of the neighbors & observe quiet time after 10PM
Other Things to Note:
You will need to bring your own firewood, there are usually a couple road side stands nearby.
While you are welcome to use our kayaks, you are always welcome to bring your own as well! We have life vests available for the number of people able to use ours, but we do not provide children's life vests.
Swimming/Floating is available off the pier. As with any lake, please use caution & have children wear life vests.
