«Lots of things to use in the kitchen. Balcony was a great spot to rest on. Did what we needed it to which was a place to stay whilst breaking up a long drive.»

«Bill was a very good host, helpful and interesting but not intrusive in any way so our stay was very peaceful in a green setting. The accommodation is very well equipped and the food provisions for breakfast excellent and including local products. Visitors have to be aware that the nearest town of several, Madoc, is 25km away but has all one could wish. »

«Shaun was very professional from the time i spoke with him until my stay was over, the cottage/hotel is newly renovated , very clean, organize and warm. Iwas there for my 23 anniversary (wedding) so i requested to have the room decorated as a surprise to my wife. My wife was so happy and surprised, overall amazing experience.»

«Cute apartment with a great kitchenette for those who don't want to eat out all the time. Wi-Fi was provided and entrance to the property was easy and I felt secure. The host has lot of little extras and tries to make your stay pleasant. There are steep stairs for any who would be troubled by that but they are very stable and have railings. »

«Great location close to all the cute shops and local eateries. Easy access to highway and short drive to Kanata and Ottawa as well as many great things to see in Ottawa Valley. More convenient and better value than the local hotels. Full kitchen is really well equipped and newer which also helps save on eating out. The host was very responsive and helpful but never intrusive. Perfect spot for checking out this picturesque little town. »

«…finishes were cheap as were the mishmash of old furniture and decorations. Not as clean as one might expect given 2 signs to remove your shoes. Spiderwebs under the entrance bench and dirt under the beds. Most definitely overpriced for a one night stay after all the fees and taxes are added, it was double the quoted rate.»

«It is a picturesque cottage with everything perfectly maintained. There was a great view of the lake and excellent lighting; and a forest behind the cottage. Foosball and air hockey tables in basement were great fun as was the hot tub which is on a large deck. Barbecue is conveniently near to sliding doors of cottage on a balcony. Bedrooms are spacious. Secluded, but only a brief drive to top grocery store and conveniences.»
