When you first walk in, everything is amazing! After your first day everything starts to get worse and worse.
For starters I’ll say that I did like the shows and the number of choices of eating options there are. I also enjoyed the pool as it was very beautiful!
What I did not like was that the only bar with all the liquor is the lobby bar. Every other bar is a hit or miss on what they have for the time. If you ordered something as simple as a piña colada, they would tell you they have no pina colada, no rum, or that you would have to go to the lobby to get it. This is consistent with all bars that weren’t the lobby bar.
Its a big resort so there’s alot of walking to get from one place to another, which is fine. But after a long walk in the heat, you would love to walk into a building that has AC blasting but none of the places besides the showroom had that. Everywhere else was just as hot as outside.
There were a few wonderful staff members, but most of them were just rude at all times, whether they would dismiss you, talk over you, or tell you to “frame Jamaican Dollars when you get home” instead of taking it as a small tip (the same person accepted the same value in USD 1 minute later which is crazy).
The food was very mid even though there were many options. Best place to eat was the hibachi place after waiting a few hours after reservation time to start eating.
Definitely not a 5 star resort for sure! I could say more but there’s a character limit …
