The location was nice, but the room was very dated. Needs to be upgraded. It wasnt helped by the alarm going off at 12.40 am and no explanation from anyone the next day. Overall experience very poor.

Has so much potential, starting to look tired and well worn. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good, room was clean, wigi was good, telephone signal was poor. However although the hotel is looking tired and in need of general maintenance the price was compatible

I could see it was at one time many years ago that it was a nice property. Really needs to be updated. Or at least keep up with the painting and wash the carpets if you’re not going to replace them

nightmare, checked in no booking for 3 people, only double booked though I had booking, response Hotel.cpoms fault. did manage to get room for 3 although was told I would have to pay. Then only breakfast for 2, again I could pay for third person. Restaurant, staff poor, food awful for evening meal, breakfast was ok and staff at breakfast helpful and pleasant - will never return and told the manager that on check out

Reading some of the reviews, you’d think people were expecting this to be a 5* luxury spa hotel. It’s definitely dated and a bit shabby but for the price, really good value. Really friendly and helpful staff, a nice breakfast and efficient check in and check out. Our room was clean and comfortable and we’d have no hesitation staying here again.

Brook Marston Farm Hotel
Overall nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Dog friendly - they could go anywhere as long as well behaved. Food good. From distance hotel looked good, but on closer inspection needs a big overhaul. However this did not detract from the stay. We found the bed in the room to be uncomfortable in places, as you moved you heard springs ‘twanging’! Surrounding area beautiful.

Probably the worst hotel we’ve stayed in
This is comfortably the worst hotel we’ve stayed in. The room didn’t look like it’d been cleaned at all and the staff seemed somewhat put out to actually be working. We tried to discuss our issues around cleanliness with the staff but they were very dismissive and they made us feel very uncomfortable.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly when we arrived, however, the hotel itself is tired and needs attention. Our room was clean and the sheets smelt nicely laundered, however, their was a slightly musty smell - perhaps the old carpet? There was a wedding during our stay so we were telephoned a few days before arrival to inform us that there was no breakfast or evening meal available. We found a beautiful canal to walk along (running alongside the hotel grounds) but it was spoilt with litter. We only stayed one night.

Great Business Stay
First stay here. Friendly welcome, rooms a great size, as was the bed. Everything clean and well presented. Staff very attentive and friendly, food in the restaurant was also good. All round great place to stay. Keep it up.

Great service
Service from the staff was excellent and the breakfasts were well cooked and served quickly. Rooms need a little updating and the smoke detector is easily activated by the shower. Friendliness of the staff shone through though and we will us it again.

Slow Decline Into Obscurity
A stop over on our way home from a holiday up north. We had both used the hotel previously when attending courses years ago. The hotel is desperately in need of a complete overall. It needs an injection of money to bring it up to a decent level of accommodation for the type of customers it should be attracting. This could be a gold mine if invested in. The public rooms are tired looking, the bedrooms need total revamping and the bathrooms need modernizing. The in house staff were excellent and very friendly but they're battling against the odds.

Staff were absolutely lovely but bar was closed the evening we arrived due to staff shortage, room was dated, toilet constantly running and bed headboards (especially mine) was dirty and greasy

Very dated.
Waited in reception for 30mins for anyone to turn up to check me in. Checked in then was told the restaurant and bars were closed. Only place I could go was the room due to a private function. Room was cold and the window view was blocked by an over grown tree. Returned to reception and checked out.

The receptionist was great and very helpful but she seemed to have to do everything. Mind you there could only have been 4 rooms occupied on a Saturday night. Food was OK but it was cheap quality but well cooked & presented. Room bed linen & towels were good but the room was grubby, handles missing from drawers, bathroom ceiling was stained from previous flooding from above. The bath you could only take a shower as there was no connection to fill the bath. No glasses in the room to take a drink of water. Electric Room heater only had two settings on or off. Walls could do with painting as many filled holes, scratches/scores or marks. Room needs a deep clean to remove dust and grime from carpet especially between the skirting and the carpet. Bathroom flooring needs deep clean or replacement. Dinning rooms very dated and could do with updating. Many differences in floor height between reception and the room, would be difficult for a less able person to negotiate. The photographs do not give a true reflection of the facility as the place needs serious amounts of capital spent to bring it up to a reasonable standard. Would not recommend as the cost of a double room would be cheaper and better at a Premier or Holiday Inn.

Excellent country hotel a gem of a stay
1night stay close to where we was attending a family function, was very surprised when arriving at hotel beautiful country side hotel, even in horrible weather very picturesque, very large room, spotless, tea & coffee facilities, lovely bar (open fire) & restaurant breakfast was included and good selection of continental items and full English breakfast was amazing, 5 minute walk to dog & doublet pub along the canal toepath Only one small issue TV didn't work but not the to watch TV. Will definitely return again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great Stay
We had an amazing weekend getaway with our family. Our family room was big enough for all four of us, and my twin 3 year olds slept through the night on the folding beds provided by the hotel. The service was super friendly and helpful by all the staff. The place could do with some TLC but it was clean and comfortable which is most important. This is a great place to stay if you are planning a trip to Drayton Manor as it is only a 7 minute drive away. We will be returning next year for sure.
