Security on site and seen several times walking the parking lot. I’m a native of SD so I was there to show my friend the sites. This Hotels is literally seen right off the side of the 8 freeway and is convenient to quickly hop on and off the freeway wether your going west to downtown and the beaches or east to try your luck at the casinos. "This property was clean, safe, and the staff provided excellent service. I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast that they provide. The only thing that I was disappointed about was the parking. If you leave and come back late, you might have a difficult time finding parking close to the property. But overall it is a great place to stay!"

"Looks like it was previously The Occidental Hotel and for the price it was absolutely fine. Very no frills but the bed was comfortable ( ), it’s a short walk to the gaslamp district, close to the airport and 10 minutes from Mission Beach"
