Early Spring Trip

Osage Beach
Husband and I went to Osage Beach to relax and visit family. Condo was very beautiful and cozy with a beautiful view. Host communication was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic stay
Our hosts were so very responsive to any issues that came up. The location was absolutely beautiful! It was near stores and attractions. The only negative thing which our hosts had no control over was how the parking for the buildings were signed. We were in building 9 which was hard to find as there was no signage to which entry was for building 9. Other than that everything was fantastic! We had a balcony overlooking the lake. We had washer and dryer on site. Full kitchen. The hosts made sure there were plenty of towels. It was keyless entry which made checkin and out easy. Our flight was early the day so not having to check out with a person made it that much easier. The next time we are out in MO, we will definitely book with the same hosts.

Less than perfect
Condo was less than we expected. Arrived and toilet wasn’t working, or faucets. Water and hot water heater were turned off. Quick call with owner (thank you) helped us get going, but this is not acceptable. Also, ongoing wall and ceiling repairs in only bathroom included unpainted and unsanded spackling on wall, blue painters tape on wall, bathroom fan missing cover, etc. Condo was not cleaned well, including food droppings left on carpet. Finally, “just remodeled” feels like a stretch. Yes, some things are newer, but most feel old or shabbily remodeled.

The place was very clean and comfortable . Easy access and like almost all of the condos you cant park your boat and or trailer in front of your condo but they did have a place for it at the entrance which was nice. The only thing that I can think of is I wish they had more small things in the kitchen like salt and pepper and other small condiments ..Bedrooms where nice to sleep in ,comfortable for sure.

Great Place!
The condo was a great place to stay for our family of three on our vacation to Osage Beach. It was easy to get to and we enjoyed looking at all the wildlife. We loved the pool and the little deck being right above the water. Being able to adjust the thermostat to our comfort was nice. Highly recommend!

condo at Knolls Resort
The property is situated in a nice quiet cove and is in a ground floor unit so stairs are limited unless you use the docks for a boat. If you bring a boat with you I highly suggest launching at the Grand Glaize Marina and parking your trailer there. Launching a boat at the ramp at the Knolls is very steep and tight and the trailer parking is not ideal.

Good experience. When you check in if you are bringing a boat - you need to get there before 4:00 so the office doesn’t close. The office has to give you a tag to put on your boat trailer before they close.

Wonderful Mother's Day Stay!
We stayed for two nights at this condo and it was perfect. The bedrooms were clean and both beds were made (that was an issue at our condo last year). The blankets, pillows, & mattresses were extremely comfortable! The host made sure there was a standing fan in each room which was amazing and we used them both nights. The smart TV in the smaller bedroom was a hit and we were able to watch Disney+ on it a couple of times. Instructions on how to leave the condo were clear and helpful. Overall a great stay! Thank you!

The condo was not cleaned well when we arrived but owner took care of it quickly. Condo is good for 2 people and 2 children, would not recommend for 2 couples. Easy entry to condo and good view from patio. Outdoor/indoor pool with jacuzzi is nice feature if weather is not good. Good location about 15 minutes from anywhere.

Osage Beach Vacation
The Ozarks is a very beautiful area in Misssouri. The condo was very nice and compact. There was just two of us so it was comfortable for us. Our biggest disappointment was the deck. It is very small and it had a larger table that made it feel crowded. Only two people can sit on the deck. The gas grill also was not usable. It was dirty and the grates were dirty and rusted.

Overall, the rental was what we expected and good for us since we planned on spending minimal time inside. However, the cleanliness of the rental was below standard and our pillowcases appeared to not have been laundered. There were stains on them. Additionally, the beds were very uncomfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was nice but a bit dark. Well equipped kitchen and laundry was great.
There was a nice view of the lake. Unfortunately the broken seal on bedroom windows made for a lousy view. The back bedroom is very dark. The beds were comfortable and the TVs in every room were a bonus! We totally enjoyed the indoor pool, hot tub and steam room and workout room. Also there was a nice path to walk along the water. There was a light that did not work and a repair person was quickly sent over. Unfortunately it was not an easy fix and they had to come back the next day to work on it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice property ...Definately the arrangements fit our family well for now (only say that because our kids are 2 and 8 and a boy and girl) They probably wont want to bunk up in the same room in a few years. The pool, playground and arcade kept the kids entertained also. For a small weekend getaway while the kids are still small, I would look into renting this again.

Everything about our stay went smoothly. Accurate check-in information was provided on a timely basis. The property was clean and ready to go when we entered. The property has a nice view of a quite cove although the view from the bedroom was obscured because the seals in the windows were broken, creating foggy windows. The only housekeeping issue was that coffee grounds were left in the coffee maker (we discarded ours when we left, so the next guest won't have that experience.). The a/c kept the unit nice and cool on a very hot Ozark weekend. One bedroom had two french doors opening to the living room, with full-length windows that had no window covering, so only one of the bedrooms offered privacy. We didn't cook, but the kitchen was adequate if guests wanted to do so, and the fridge kept our beer nice and cold. The furniture in the living area could use an upgrade/update-it was functional but not comfortable without throw pillows as additional seat cushioning. The decor is on the dark side and a bit outdated but met what would be a reasonable expectation for an older property. The overall property is quiet and seems well-maintained. We didn't use the pool, but can confirm its existence and it looked fine from the outside looking in. We encountered a handful of other residents/guests and all were in good spirits, well-behaved and generally quiet. We did have a fellow, perhaps over-served at one of the nearby watering holes, knock on the door thinking it was his place. He was pleasant enough and went on his way without incident when we advised him of his error. Based on the absence of a missing-person report on the local news the following morning, we can only assume a happy ending to his adventure, but can confirm a happy ending to ours!

This was the first time we have vacationed at the Lake of the Ozarks, so we were pretty much rolling the dice. But we were extremely pleased! Everything was clean and inviting! The only thing that prevents 5 stars is that there were no drapes or blinds on one of the doors to the bedrooms. That seems like a really easy fix to help with privacy. Otherwise, we loved it!

We loved the peace and quiet
This trip was a few days of getting away with my elderly mother and 14-year-old granddaughter. we all enjoyed our stay and found the facility to be great. There were two minor repair items that I emailed directly to the owners so that they would be aware. We would return to stay in that condo again. We enjoyed the indoor pool, fishing, and relaxing. The sun came out on our second day, which was great. Overall, it was a good experience.

So much to do!
This was my families first trip to the Ozarks. We planned this trip the day before we left so we didn't have very high hopes for good lodging. I was so thrilled when we arrived. This property was perfect for our family of 4. We were right on the water and close to restaurants. My teenage boys had so much to do with the pools, game rooms and the indoor and outdoor tennis courts. Although the outside of the buildings is pretty blah, this unit was clean and modern. There are fish and turtles that hang out right down from the deck so we threw some hot dogs to them and they went nuts! They were our friends for the week after that. We would definitely come back to the Knolls!

Relaxing!!!!
We had a fantastic stay! Communication was great, as well as the condo. Great location with tons of activities for adults and children, right at the complex. The boys kept busy in the pool, @ the basketball courts and in the gameroom. We had a ball feeding the turtles, ducks, fish and birds right off the deck. We would definitely stay there again.

While the property itself was dated, the Windmueller's unit had obvious updates. The unit was comfortable, cozy and clean. Everything that we needed was provided. We had some trouble with the Wi-Fi, but the Windmueller's quickly provided a workaround to address the problem. We couldn't get the TV in the queen bedroom to work, but that didn't cause a problem since we were eventually able to stream Netflix on our laptop once the Wi-Fi issue was resolved. My decision to book this condo was partly based on the amenities. We visited the clubhouse on a rainy Saturday so the kids could swim. While I appreciated access to a pool, hot tub, steam room and dry sauna, Knolls property management really needs to make significant updates to the clubhouse and keep it cleaner. Overall, the experience was satisfactory thanks to the Windmueller's providing all of the comforts of home in their unit.
