What you can expect

The Schindler Factory Museum presents everyday life and the tragic events that took place in Krakow during World War II. The seat of the museum is Schindler's Factory shown in the Oscar-winning film “Schindler's List” by Stephen Spielberg. The unusual and modern exhibition of the museum will not leave anyone indifferent. A guided tour will help you better understand the message of each item on display here.
Right next to the museum there is an authentic place where the Jewish ghetto functioned during the war. A short walk along with the guide's stories will bring back memories of those tragic days. The victims are commemorated by an unusual statue of chairs in the middle of the square.
In the second half of the day, go to Wieliczka to see with your own eyes one of the oldest in Europe and absolutely picturesque salt mines. The tourist route is more than 3 km long and includes more than 20 halls, including the largest and unique St. Kinga's Church - the patroness of miners. The underground church is richly decorated with chandeliers, carvings and sculptures of saints carved out of salt. There is a special curative microclimate in the mine and at a depth of 135 m there is a sanatorium. The Salt Mine in Wieliczka is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
