Terrible staff and dirty room
The service at the evening was terrible. When we came to the room it was dirty with hair in the bed and diarhea in the toilet. There was something wrong with everything. The contacts in the room did not work, so we could not charge our phones. If we did not have an adapter, we needed to go to glasgow city to buy one. The toilet did not flush always and the shower was terrible hot and cold on and off. It smelled like death in the hallway. I do not recomend this hotel at all.

Stort behov for oppgradering
Forferdelig varmt på rommet, ingen air condition. Hotellet trenger også sårt en oppussing da dekoren er fra tidlig 90 tall. Ikke særlig god frokost.

It was a nice property and it was a very convenient place to stay for what i wanted to do whilst i was in Scotland. The Property and Facilities were good, but could of done with more hot water leading to my room. Otherwise it was a really nice place to stay and i would book again with you.

The staff was very welcoming and the food in the restaurant was delicious again the staff were very friendly. However, the room was very disappointing. There were holes in the door to the bathroom, the bathroom itself was very dated.

Very reasonable which is improving
Overall a mid century hotel which seems to be pulling itself up to modern standards. Some cosmetic repairs needed to ensuite of our room and room itself. Room comfort adequate but too hot due to main heating feed pipe running along the wall and uninsulated resulting in radiator being totally redundant. Hotel cleanliness very good overall. Restaurant quality and presentation of meals very good and reasonably priced. Staff encountered throughout our stay very friendly and helpful. Gary on waiter duties at breakfast time is top notch and gets a 5* from me. We have stayed here before, a few years back and also had our wedding reception in the then Mill Hotel, almost 50 years ago. Keep up the good work folks and have a Happy New Year. So this is an older hotel which is showing real effort in improving and indeed returning to its former status.

Rooms need updating, was absolutely frozen in room at night, curtain with tears down it, window not working properly, a lot of effort on outside looks and bar etc but fades when get to room. Food was really good in restaurant tho. For the price paid would of expected something a bit more better. Very lovely staff

Black mould in bathroom and white duck tape holding broken bath panel together. Floor tiles in bathroom lethal when wet. Rooms overall in a state of disrepair. featherblade of beef in restaurant was 2 bits of tough,chewy frying steak that were virtually inedible. Staff are friendly and try their best but I will be staying elsewhere next time.

An excellent competitive cost
Myself and my husband stayed 2 nights whilst visiting family and it was in an ideal spot. The staff where friendly and helpful. The room was a bit dated however did the job. The cost was very competitive. I would stay in the Kings Park Hotel again

Compassionate staff
I want to write about my stay on 9th October 2023, I was going though a very difficult time and needed somewhere to stay for the night, I am writing to say the the staff on duty that day where very supportive, When I was having lunch, I was upset and the member of staff on at that time was a gentleman called Gary, he took the time to come over and ask if I was ok, even though I didn't go in to detail about what was wrong, the fact that he approached me to make sure I was ok was very much appreciated, Then at night when I was having dinner the girl that was on that evening in the restaurant done the same, I was struggling and again was approached by this female member of staff (sorry I didn't get her name) and she asked if I was ok, again I didn't go in to detail, she then approached me again later on and asked if I needed a glass of water, I appreciate both of these members of staff and can not thank them enough, the fact that the approached me to make sure I was ok is something I will never forget and this hotel should be very proud of their staff, All I can say is Thank you

Wonderful reception service but our room backed to trash bins so there was noise and flies in our room. Had all basic amenities and good value for money just time for some updates in mattresses for one. Little things like missing teacup and mattress covers not fitting the mattresses, towel rail at knee level could be improved. I would stay again.

NOT renovated
Definitely NOT updated. The foyer/lobby area has been refreshed with new decor/carpet (probably in the last 2-5 years), however the rooms are straight from the 1980s, with the room/ensuite in dire need of renovation. Plus, when you book a double room, the last thing you need is a spare bed you didn't ask for cramping up the little space you have. The staff were very friendly and helpful at least!

Good, but noisy
Bath to take a shower is a bit small, mainly if you are a big man. Also, not uncommon, had parties on terrace and the music and people screaming could be heard until 1am, not really good when you have to wake up in the morning to work.
