This villa has fantastic views BUT is on a main road on a steep hill and the traffic noise deafening. This villa has a garage for parking BUT you don't have access to the garage so can't park your car. This villa has three en-suites BUT they don't look like the photos, most areas are broken and cracked, including most importantly the mosquito nets. This villa is clean on arrival BUT deeply ingrained with decades of aged dirt especially in the bathrooms and seating areas. This villa has a good kitchen BUT it is infested with ants - even in cupboards, drawers and dish washer. This villa has cable TV BUT only ONE English channel. This villa has two floors BUT one is out of bounds, locked up and unhealthily damp. This villa has an impressing staircase BUT don't take toddlers as it is lethal. This villa has working electricity BUT light switches buzz and fizz in a very worrying manner. This villa has an outdoor BBQ BUT it is too rusty to use. This villa has an outdoor eating area BUT half the chairs are broken. We found that this villa has a non-communicative owner who did not help us with our problem. VERY IMPORTANTLY to us this villa was marketed by Owners Direct as having a heated pool which we needed and for medical reasons (our main reason for booking) BUT the pool is freezing and the pool man said the heater has been out of commission for years. This villa is marketed by Owners Direct who have been very polite and sympathetic to us but did not help us resolve our problem. We received no compensation for the knowingly mis-sold information we were provided - i.e. a freezing pool which made the medical issues worse.
Los Gigantes is worth a visit BUT book another villa through a different organisation.
