Place reeked of marijuana even in "non-smoking" rooms. It was loud all night, with techno music bumping from another room making it impossible for my toddler to fall asleep. The parking lot was crowded, with few to no open spaces, and the neighborhood felt unsafe. The sign still says red roof inn, and that was the quality of it, rather than a Days Inn. Also,the "breakfast" was a few stale muffins, some fruit, and coffee. No milk even for my kids.

I stayed for 3 nights and they only did the housekeeping one day, when I asked them to clean my room they said they don´t clean the rooms everyday unless I ask them to do so and the cleaning staff was gone already. Is this a new trend in american hotels? I stayed at another hotel in El Paso TX (which was supposed to be the best hotel in town) and they didn´t clean my room either. The presentation of the staff at the days inn was deplorable, old t-shirts and ripped jeans, at least make them wear normal jeans I hear they are less expensive. They said they included continental breakfast, little I knew that for them continental breakfast is a tray of muffins and toast from Costco.

Property is located around area where there are a lot of homeless roaming around. We seen guys doing “business “on the side of the road by the property itself. Staff area very rude no customer service at all! I will never stay on this area again ever!

We decided to stay at Days inn since we are able to take our dog with us & the price was reasonable. When we entered the room it looked decent. It smelled good and it looked clean. However once we set out stuff down, I noticed the floors were dirty & in some parts even sticky. The worse part was that roaches started coming out from behind a mirror. My husband took the mirror off & about 10 roaches were running around. I also found a dead roach next to the bed & by the restroom. If it wasn’t for the roaches I would have consider staying again.

Only the pictures I took can properly describe my discontent while staying at this property. Floor was dirty, one lamp was broken, the other missing a light bulb. The chair was missing a castor, making it nonfunctional and dangerous. One window screen was torn and a dead fly was in the window because the window was left open. The other window was duck-taped! And the class of people staying there was loud, obnoxious and up until after 2AM.............and management was no where to be found.

No water provided in rooms, limited access to water in the lobby during breakfast hours which is 7-10am. Asked for extra blankets due to the room being chilly, wasn’t able to receive any. Housekeeping entered the room shortly after we checked in, using her own card, without permission. Housekeeping also wasn’t friendly at all when returning fresh towels as if we were inconveniencing her.

The room was clean and upgraded and had the basic amenities. I was disappointed that I could not take a bath due to lack of a plug or stopper and the water pressure overall left much to be desired. The staff was pleasant.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and one worker who checked us in was very hardworking and understanding but the others following were not nearly as good. In the 6 nights of my stay, I only had a housekeeper come and grab trash twice, I had to constantly ask for toilet paper or towels & face cloths. On January 1st (my birthday) I had enough and went to the front desk to ask the front desk employee to please have someone clean mine and my boyfriends room and after being gone for hours, we came back to the room exactly how we left it (no toilet paper, trash still there, and no towels). I was mortified. My boyfriend and I then went to the front desk (again) and I found the same guy who I had originally asked to get someone to clean our room. His excuse was it’s his first day but how difficult is it to just get a housekeeper to clean a guests room? We paid over $600 for our stay of 6 nights and I am still incredibly appalled that this is how we were treated. Another employee came up as we were talking to his co-worker and told me they will get someone to clean our room in the morning at 9:30am, yet no one came and we had to get a housekeeper ourselves to clean our room. Not to mention I called the front desk requesting a face rag to wash my body with and the front desk receptionist told me she will send someone, yet no one came for nearly two hours. I had already showered and done my make up within these almost 2 hours. All in all, our stay was horrible and by far the worst.

We booked this hotel specifically for the hot tub and breakfast before headed out for our zoo day. The hot tub was under maintenance and the breakfast quite literally was bread and mini yogurt cups. No coffee and no juice. Absolute waste of money. Also, you can hear every single person walking out front outside the rooms so don’t book here if you want good sleep, a relaxing hot tub, or breakfast.
