My husband, myself, our daughter, son-in-law and baby granddaughter had a wonderful time in the beautiful lodge. It is very large, twice the size of it's neighbouring lodges, had everything you could need including iron and ironing board, which is not listed on the site. Outside furniture including sunbeds, to use on the very large patio area overlooking the picturesque fields, waterways and windmills in the distance. The local sheep come very close with only the small waterway between you, you are greeted by swans, ducks, flocks of birds, it is a wonderfully relaxing place with great sunsets. All linen was provided and it was very clean and fresh as were the towels which were also provided, just bring your own beach towels. A small cleaning pack of washing up liquid, scourer, sponge, dishcloth and t-towel was provided, plus a toilet roll in each bathroom. Location was amazing, apparently called "millionaires row" on the site because of the view. You have your own parking assigned to your lodge beside it to the left when approaching.
The whole lodge is spacious, including the two bedrooms, each with their own walk-in wardrobe. The open plan kitchen, living, dining area is wonderful and spacious. We had a wonderful weekend in this gorgeous lodge and will definitely be back.
