From check in, it was an older property. Walking in, i wondered if i would be checking right back out. My room was very clean. The counter clerk was courteous. The pool was not opened. The breakfast was good enough. For the price, i was disappointed. I did not feel unsafe, yet i could hear everything happening up and down the hall, from inside my room. It seemed very over priced for the accommodation.

Super nice place in nice location
We brought our dog along and it was so nice. The place smelled amazing, and the breakfast was great. It was really crowded but they did a great job of keeping the place stocked and check-in was easy. $20 for a pet is very reasonable. The room smelled great when we walked in. It was nice and cold in the room which we love! The shower had built-in Dove for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Very nice place that we will stay at again!

2 reservations were made and confirmed, but after 12 hours of driving, we were told only 1 was received. Clerk offered no excuse how except it was the booking person who didn’t place the reservation. She told us to try the other hotels in the area, which we already knew were full. Finally we asked about the other HI, she never asked to assist us with contacting them. Until my son finally asked if she could call. He was able to get into that hotel with wonderful service. This one not so much. And then get into the room and the toilet seat is broken!

Needs updating. Door hinges were rusty. Bathroom sink was outside of the bathroom and right in front of the outside door. My husband almost banged into me when he was coming into the room and I was standing at the sink.

Outlets hanging off the wall. Sink way too low and clogged. Toilet old and low. Dated furnishings. One regular coffee pod, no tea. I would expect more from holiday inn and for the price.

The front desk person was very personable, but hotel needs updating. We were put in the back of the hotel, long dark hallways. Wood furniture was worn and the single small leather chair had multiple cracks in the material. Old dim lamp. Not enough of light in room.

Staff, breakfast and location were very good. Overall condition of hotel was not what I was expecting from a Holiday Inn Express. Rooms and decor were a little worn, and could use some updates. Generally, a good place for one night, and quick stop and go off I95.

It Was Ok.
Book A Room For The Night To Catch A Break From Driving. Check In Was Okay The Front Desk Guy Was Nice. Once Getting To The Room It Was Very Muggy. I Checked The Bed & Mattresses For Bed Bugs Which I Didn’t Seem To Find Which Is A Plus. The AC In The Room Sucks It Barely Circulates The Room. The Bathroom Is Decent I Never Step Bare Foot In Any Hotel Shower Anyways. Always Have Shower Shoes

Rooms need to be updated badly. Was not worth the price we paid to stay for the night at all. Ants in the room, but hotel was fully booked so no other room to move us to if needed. Toilet seat was severely marked up and poorly patched. Ceiling above shower was subpar as well. Beds were stiff, like sleeping on cardboard. Very disappointed for the price we paid. Staff was very friendly though!

Pool didn't open until 9:00am which makes it impossible for business folks or those on a schedule to get their exercise in the morning. VERY disappointing...

Sparking live electrical wires near pool
This hotel needs to be shutdown by the Fire Department. Everything was as expected for the price... dingy not well maintained rooms with stains and wornout furniture and mildew in the bathrooms. No gripes about all that.... it's sadly what I expect these days for a hotel under $200/nt. But our experience at the pool was horrifying. After swimming for an hour or so, someone noticed smoke coming from 15feet away from the pool. It turned out to be a landscape light that was removed and the wiring not shut off. There were severed LIVE wires sparking and smoking in a puddle 15ft from the pool where 12 kids were swimming. We evacuated the pool and told staff who responded with 'well, the maintenance person went home already'. They didn't even shut down the pool or call the fire department until we told them they needed to. This place should be shutdown until a proper safety inspection is performed by the Fire Department.

Joshua, The hotel is getting ready to enter into a full renovation. Our property is one of the older hotels in the area and like all old things repairs must be made and we are working on just that. Once the renovations are complete we hope you will give us a try again. I do apologize that you did not enjoy your stay but we will make it right.
