«This home was personally built and designed by the owners with high end finishes, design elements with a stunning kitchen and living room with two very nice bathrooms and side covered porch and three bedrooms. A foreground decididuous tree does obscure your center view at perhaps except in winter but the bay is especially viewable from porch and kitchen and one of the bedrooms. The parking area is private for this property and sits just above it's roofline. We highly recommend this property.»

«Lovely comfortable home for extended family stay. Once firewood was sorted (thankyou) fire was great for heating whole house. Spectacular views from main bedroom and lounge plus decks. Very close to Akaroa. Unfortunately didnt get email re checking in arrangements but sorted quickly once we got someone on the phone!»

«This home is beautiful and very accessible to the town of Christchurch and surrounding attractions. My children loved the pool and the kitchen was very user friendly and spacious. The only complaint was that there were not many hangers in each room and limited towels. The showers leaked on the floor and we needed to use the towels to dry the floors and ensure they would be safe given that they were concrete and slippery when wet. «If you’re considering this home just go ahead and book it right now. Seriously just do it. The unit is a very spacious, attractive and comfortable space, beautifully designed. The grounds are lovely and peaceful. And-the views from all the bedrooms, living spaces, and even bathrooms are absolutely stunning, even on cloudy days. Kim was a fantastic host, made sure we had everything we needed, and was very helpful at orienting us to the area and to South Island.»

«The house was perfect for our family of 5. Very well maintained and plenty of room kids and adults alike. All the amenities are in good condition and there’s everything you need for a lovely stay. The location was perfect. A stunning view over the valley, lots of sun and just a short walk into Akaroa. «Such a stunning view!! I could have sat in the spa soaking that in all day, especially when the sun is shining across the bay! The house is a perfect size for 2 adults with all that is needed to cook and have a few days out of the hustle and bustle. Akaroa is close by and there are plenty of great cafes and bars to eat at a short 10 min drive away.»
