Mixed feelings
We have mixed feelings about the hotel. The scenery is beautiful. We loved the beach and the service is great. The fitness room is nice and it is free yoga class. The breakfast is amazing! The rooms are big, but our room smelled moldy. A lot of insects on the balcony. On our third day we discovered 3 small cockroaches. We let the hotel know, and they took it seriously. They send someone to clean and spray the room while We were out for dinner. When We came back, We saw another cockroach. The next morning We saw another one. We told the hotel, which did a full cleaning of our room, but We still saw a new cockroach. They might have a problem with insects, and spraying is probably not enough. We understand that it must be difficult to prevent insects, but we were a bit disappointed because of the price of the hotel. We have traveled for 6 week in south east Asia, and lived in low price accommodation, and this is the first time we had cockroaches. Also, be aware that all food and drinks are super expensive at the hotel. We are a couple, had one lunch and dinnerbuffet two days (+ one beverage each pr meal), two cocktails and two soda, which was 133 euros. The food is overpriced and not the best. Because of the price, we ate most lunches and some dinners outside the hotel, which we recommend.

Drømmeland
Helt nydelig sted! Bare senke skuldrene og få massasje på huset før frokost, etterfulgt med nydelig buffe frokost, og så nyte deilig dag på deres fine strand eller rundt bassenget. Yoga timene der kan anbefales. Ellers er det masse muligheter for å utforske utenfor hotellet som Santhiya selv arrangerer. Så utrolig hyggelige mennesker og god service. Hadde dratt tilbake dit hver dag. Rommene var også drømmelige<3 unner alle en ferie her!

Helt ok, overpriset men fint hotell.
Fint hotell og området. Blir litt vel låst til å oppholde seg på hotellet og deres restauranter. Kan dra på utflukt og benytte seg av andre tilbud. Overpriset og ikke fornøyd med kvaliteten på maten. Frokosten er verdt det. Prisen matcher ikke kvaliteten.

Overall we had a great stay at Santhiya. Unfortunately we could not swim in the sea because of sea lice (tiny jellyfish). We really enjoyed the infinity pool instead. Breakfast was great. No problems with the shuttlebusses - they went all the time. Stayed for 3 nights - which was enough for us considering the secluded location.

Dette hotellet er bare helt paradise!!! Jeg og typen hadde meget godt opphold i de 4 dagene her på santhiya. Rommet var meget rent og ryddig hver eneste dag. Balkongen med badekaret var den beste jeg vet om.!! Ikke minst fantastiske utsikten mot havet. Frokost var god og masse å velger!!! Klarte nesten ikke å velger siden det var så mye godt. Begge bassenger var meget fint Vi hadde rommet Nr 6312. Anbefales.

Beautiful hotel with terrible check inn.
Everything with the hotel was very good, beautiful room and good food. But at check inn we had to wait 2 hours before we got a room. We came 14.00. And again when we checked out we had to wait 30 minutes and had to pay extra for our soon even though we had paid for him already. This was not good, but everything else at the hotel we loved. Especially the people who worked in the buffet restaurant.

3 nights romantic stay
Very relaxing stay here after a week in busy Phuket. Quite remote location, but chill and very beautiful. Some down sides are car transportation around on the resort, but it worked, since they drive often... and not western toilets. Otherwise nice, clean and good service. Nice for a romantic get away :)

It would be nice if there are more speedboats at different times to Phuket and back. There needs to be a coffee machine in every room. There need to be more sunshades.

Beautiful authentic Thai resort in luxury. Island peaceful away from tourists. Rooms very nice and very cold AC. Views are amazing. Was in hotel 3. Dont stay here if you have mobility issues. Lots of stairs and in and out truck type transportation with high step up and steep hills and down to beach. You will not be right on beach. Different restatrants same menu. Service is good but not amazing in restaurants.. some of the workers act less eager to please. Typical of large resorts. Spa was great.. there are things to do... prices more expensive because where you at. Mopeds.were fun.. hard to get back to phuket..and expensive because of private pier tp ao po grand marina. This is 5 star place. Would do again

We absolutely loved our stay at Santhiya. It surpassed our expectations! The service was excellent all around -- from the shuttles to the spa to the restaurants. We also loved all the extra detail that went into things like decor, live music and fun activities around the resort. It felt like a once in a lifetime experience and I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for incredible service and Thai hospitality.

It was a great place to spend time without thinking about anything. One thing I would like to see improved is the shuttle service within the hotel grounds. Please note that if you choose a room far from the pick-up location, you will have to walk a considerable distance. However, it seems that small children, pregnant women, and people who require assistance will be transported by cart.

Das Hotel ist etwas besonderes und lädt zum entspannen ein. Leider ist es mittlerweile schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und es wären einige Renovierungsarbeiten notwendig. Z.b. Bei den Stiegen zum Pool fehlen einige Steine und somit besteht Gefahr sich zu verletzen, Nägel stehen aus Holzliegen raus

I had been staying in Phuket before my stay at the Santhiya so I took a taxi to the Marina and had arranged to take the speedboat as required. However, I was not given any information on where to meet the speedboat or if I was supposed to check in with any hotel staff somewhere. I was able to find the speedboat thanks to helpful people around the marina, but the staff at the boat kept asking me if I had checked in. They were not able to tell me where, and after some walkie-talkie and telephone discussions by staff, someone was able to find my name on their list and I was able to board the boat. I do not know if the Sanythiya has a procedure for checking in guests who have not taken the airport shuttle, or if I missed a desk/office at the Marina which belonged to the Santhiya but no one was able to direct me elsewhere. Keep in mind that Check-In at the Santhiya is 3pm, and if you arrive before that time your room will likely not be available yet! The hotel staff take your luggage when you arrive off the speedboat so while I enjoyed an hour or so at a restaurant getting lunch and waiting for my room, I would have enjoyed my time more if I had grabbed my swimsuit first. I wish the Santhiya had encouraged me to book a later speedboat so I would arrive when my room was ready. The facilities are fabulous and the buffet breakfast was always a very welcome sight. I can't rave about things more than everyone else already has so just trust me that you will have a fabulous time here.

This is a hidden gem! Excellent service from the moment I arrived to the moment we left! They made it truly a wonderful vacation. Only thing I would let people know that there are a lot of kids around the resort. It didn’t bother us personally, but if that is something you are not looking for would not recommend. Really enjoyed personally!

Before I begin, I want it to be clear that the staff and workers of the resort were extremely kind and nice. But that place was the worst part of my trip in Thailand, least, absolute least favorite part. Very beautiful though. There was something magical about the view from the infinity pool. I could have stared at the horizon for hours. The Muay Thai classes were a lot of fun. But we were very grateful to leave that resort. We just really thought it was overpriced food and ridiculous the boat ride to and from the port was not included. Think the resort should provide at least one ride there and one ride back for free. I did like that I was able to use WhatsApp and contact the hotel people whenever though. I had a mosquito issue in my room and whatsapped them and with in 5 minutes some dude sprayed our room. And there was a really cool monkey who may have stolen a bottle of Fanta (I’m assuming he wasn’t the original owner). But we only saw him one time. If I had seen him more I would have given more stars. More monkeys please and establish a 7eleven in the resort. Or a free shuttle to the village where they have a 7eleven.

We enjoyed the rooms with balcony and bay views. The pools and beach were refreshing and convenient. Food service excellent. Breakfast was fantastic. We enjoyed excursion to nearby elephant sanctuary and private speed boat island hopping and snorkling for our family.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem Resort! :) Es war rundum perfekt und es gab nichts zu bemängeln. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett, das Zimmer und der Strand waren ein Traum. Wir werden dieses Resort definitiv weiterempfehlen!
