Excellent Weekend Getaway & Value
Juleitta's property was fantastic for my husband's 40th birthday celebration with 4 couples altogether. Everyone felt comfortable and we loved the quality of the decorations and all of the supplies available in the kitchen for cooking. Julietta was quick to respond and allowed us to check in a little bit earlier than the set time.

Lake house for the holiday
The house was spacious and a lot of updates. They had 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms but one shared shower/tub which was connected to the master bathroom. It had pantry doors closing it off on both sides of the bathrooms so was kind of awkward going to the bathroom sitting next to the door. That was a bit disappointing. The patio doors didn't want to lock and the oven wouldn't work. The backyard was large and spacious but a bit overgrown and lots of mosquitos. Unfortunately they kept coming in the house and we spent lots of time trying to kill them.

Good To Be Back Home Again
We were overall impressed with the Lake House. The layout allowed for coming together and/or personal space. It was well appointed and met our needs for a visit to my home town for a family reunion. We were disappointed that we were not able to use the oven due to a spill. (The hostess did offer to come and give it needed attention.) We would definitely consider booking this property again.

Family Reunion Weekend
This is a great set-up for our family to enjoy some time together. The house is well cared for and has all the kitchen supplies you need to make meals. Lots of room to spread out and enjoy the beautiful lake and spacious deck.

Inside great outside not so great
A group of friends met here for memorial Day weekend who are all avid travelers. The inside of the house was exceptional and met all our needs. It was stylish and clean and had everything you could possibly need. The sheets smelled wonderful and the towels were fluffy. The shower in the basement is one that we all dream to have. The only thing that kept this from being a perfect five was the outside of the property had not been prepared or cleaned for guests. There was duck poop everywhere cobwebs and the water fountain is full of debris and mosquitoes. It looked like it had not been touched for the season yet and the lawn was not mowed either. It was disappointing that the owner did not offer any kind of compensation. I would return as long as there was confirmation that the outside had been cleaned up.

Wedding weekend
We got married at the Bloomfield barn and this VRBO was perfect location. i used it the night before to make bouquets and the kitchen island was great to utilize for that. It was spacious to get ready before the wedding. My husband and i felt like it was really serene and he was able to fish. It's gorgeous to look out the kitchen or master bedroom at the lake. I would say the only negative is the master bedroom the bed is super high and hard to get in.

Eclipse 2024
We rented this lovely lake house for a family gathering to view the total eclipse. The house was perfect for our group of 6. The lakeside setting was so peaceful and beautiful. The host was so easy to work with. I would highly recommend this house and host for you vacation needs

Great Place for an Easter Weekend with Family
This was our second time staying here and we couldn't have been more pleased with both stays. The kitchen has everything you need and the TV in the basement is great for watching sports. We also did a little fishing and spend quality family time on the back deck overlooking the lake. We will be back!

Family Thanksgiving
This house was perfect for us while visiting our mother in Paris. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and watch TV, play games, or gather in the family room. We enjoyed most of our meals at the house thanks to the spacious and well equipped kitchen. It was a great space to cook Thanksgiving dinner. We also enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the sunrise on the lake- a beautiful location.

The perfect home away from home!!
We stayed there for 5 days when we went to the covered bridge festival in Indiana. The home was so nice that we ended up staying there, instead of the festival, for a couple of days. The beautiful fall colors, acorns dropping from the maple trees, the rippling lake, our quiet oasis, comfortable beds, couches to snuggle up & read, great kitchen to fix our meals, washer & dryer, are a few pluses. This home was older with everything brand new! Deck & walkout basement with patio furniture galore. Wish we would have planned to stay longer. The host had everything there we needed to enhance our stay.

Great Property!
We had a mini family reunion to enjoy the Parke County Bridge Fest. The property and home were great! Julieta stayed in contact and answered all of our questions. There are also some really good restaurants nearby. We would highly recommend this property.

Great lake house family vacation
Beautiful house! Had a blast with my family. We hadn't seen each other in 20yrs. Great family reunion! Only bad was the owners spying from their jetski. Didn't bother me except the lack of privacy. I know it was them because they returned their jetski that Sunday night and I recognized the guy. Other than that it was great! Thanks again!
