Sentralt hotell
Fikk tildelt et rom på nederste nivå ved bassenget. Det var en muggen lukt på rommet og klimanlegget fungerte kke. Etter tre klager fikk jeg omsider oppggradet rommet til 13 etasje. Honør til perosnallet i resepsjonen som gjorde det de kunne for å bistå til et best mulig opphold.
I forhold til resturanter og barer trenger disse en oppgradering, og prisnivået er ca 50% høyere enn standard i Nairobi. Fordelen er at hotellet er sentralt lokalisert i forhold til sentrum, i tillegg er prisen konkurransedyktig sammenlignet med lignende hoteller.

Effective business hotel in Nairobi
Nairobi is jammed in traffic 24/7. So if your business is downtown, Hilton is great: good wifi, well equipped gym, comfortable business lounge and a beautiful restaurant at the pool and everything close to business and government offices makes Hilton a good choice.

Sufficient - but not great
OK standards, but not a four star hotel, and as such extremely overpriced fares when considering the outrageous payment for internet and breakfast in addition.
The swimming pool, business center and the gym facilities somewhat made up for a bit of what was lost in terms of room comfort and excessive price.

Enjoyed Hilton!
The hotel was very nice. Friendly, clean, good service, centrally placed in the city, always taxis available outside, and the breakfast was good. We did not use the restaurant in the evenings, because we liked to try out different restaurants in the town. The hotel is recommendable.

But the hotel is old and a bit worn really, needs to be revamped. Prices quite high for food and drink.....but the Jockey Club has a good deal for 5 beers for 1500 KES

Everything was super excellent apart from when making reservation I was advised checking time to be 10.01am, we arrived at 11:30am and was told check in time was 2pm, so we had to wait.

The Hilton is well placed in town and has all the facilities that you would expect. Staff are good and there is a good atmosphere. I am a regular visitor to the Hilton and my only complaint is the limited restaurant/food options and the price. a two course lunch for two people consisting of soup followed by chicken with mash and vegetables came in at close to $85.00 USD before service charge. Half of that price would have been expensive. The food was fine, but not at that price.

Nairobi Hilton, a false advertised money racket
We had paid extra to have 2 queen beds, but were told at check in that it wasn’t even an option to have 2 queen beds. They brought in a roll away cot, but gave no discount because our room was prepaid. They also added a charge for shuttle to the airport, and charged us extra for WiFi even when we’re Hilton honors members. The ‘continental’ breakfast was offered to us at an additional $19.00 per person per day, which we declined.

Outdated and overly expensive
Booked based on the reputation of the Hilton name and Central location, but immediately regretted it. The room was small, outdated and had a moldy small inside as well as in the hallway. The hotel has serious deferred maintenance and updating needs. The shower flow was strong, but the toilet took 2-3 flushes every time. The restaurant and cafe were extremely overpriced.

Appalling
The place is so outdated and in a very bad condition. its has lost its glory. the same carpets that were there 10yrs ago are still there. the rooms are appalling. instead of changing the toilets they repaint the covers etc. hope it is renovated soon before it looses all its customers.

The Hilton is in the city center. It is easy to get around Nairobi from the hotel by foot.
The service was just wonderful and the food was excellent.
