Dear Silmara,Thank you for taking the time to write this review. we are sorry to see that your experience at Hotel JL no76 was not what you expected this to be.After the conversation we had in the morning from my point of view the issues were resolved. It is sad to see that this was not the case.In the morning, after asking if everything was okay and you had a good night, I asked if you could meet us at the reception after breakfast as I did not want to disturbe you during this time. After the question was asked what that would be for I explained that it would be for payment of the breakfast which was not booked included for your room and for your son's room.When you came to the reception after breakfast there were some miscommunications about the price that was needed to be paid during check-in for the city taxes. Unfortunately, as you booked with a travel agent we cannot influence the information they send. The precentage of the city tax is calculated automatically by our system and is the amount we have to declare to the city of Amsterdam. During our conversations I had refunded the amount for the three breakfast back to your card to compensate these issues. As well as gave the advice to contact the customer support from the travel agent to ask about the difference mentioned in city taxes. To do so I had included print outs from the invoices.Again I apologize that during this conversation you do not feel that the issues and service level was resolved. This is not what we strive for. We want all our guests to have the best experience that they can get when staying with us.We do hope that you will give Hotel JL no76 another chance in the future to improve your image of our hotel.

I see in our system that you had booked one of our Basement Comfort rooms. These rooms are indeed in the basement and are from the smaller room type within our hotel. From your notes I am unsure which water you mean that was not clean as the water from the tap in the Netherlands is clean and drinkable. From the receptionstaff working on the day of your check-out, I have gathered that no mentioning was made during check-out for any of points you are referring too. Otherwise I would have been happy to have contacted you when my shift started in Sunday 3-12, the day of your departure. During the other days of your stay I unfortunately was off. In any case, you can always contact the hotel and ask for me to speak about the issues that have happened during your stay.
