Expected more based on the price I payed. - Bad logistics - Slow service - Staff not attentive - Beach not child friendly or - My daughter (eight years) was served alcohol by staff (!) - Logistics is so silly - You need to book restaurants at a desk, problem is, there was not very often staff there + Food + Some hard working staff brought joy and care to guests +

Super holiday place!
In short, this was an amazing place to stay. Pro's: The place is very nice. However, it was the service level and the friendliness of the staff that really made the difference compared to a lot of other places. I would say it was from really good to incredible at times, though the weekend service at Infinity Blue was not as expected, seemingly due to lack of staff. Further, they have a nice beach, good food, and very clean room. The proactivity of the staff covering the room several times per day helped make this a very pleasant stay. There is a wonderful oil massage for all covered if taken within the first two days. Con's: An unexpected cost was added to our bill after the bill had been paid, and I am still waiting for an explanation in this regard. After it had rained a lot we had some problems with the water in the bath tub. However, this was solved within until the day after.

Good and charming experience
Nice and relaxed atmosphere, lovely site and well groomed fascilities. Food generally good, except for the dinner buffet at Balafon, which I found to be mediocre. Best food was served at Ginja (not part of the AI concept, but you get a discount) Very good selection of drinks, however the red wine which is offered as standard is not very nice, ask for the bar list. Staff are very welcoming and smiling, and not very well trained :-) They often forget what you have ordered, so gentle reminders is a must. Overall, a friendly, cosy place which suits all kinds of guests both young and old.

Our stay at the resort was wonderful. The facilities were excellent and all the staff very friendly, approachable and helpful. Sorted any issues that were raised. One staff member to mention in particular is Oliver who had our breakfast drinks ready at our usual table as soon as he saw us approching. Only one small criticism was the labelling of food. On one occasion what we thought was vegetarian was in fact not. But this was promptly corrected. Overall we had an excellent holiday.

Disappointing
Disappointing. Reception staff were most unhelpful. The buffet restaurant was at best chaotic. The Blu restaurant was very nice and the staff were lovely in there. The food was generally ok but not the best. Overall this didn’t feel like a good 5 star hotel.

Vi boede på Heritage Awali i 7 nætter - og nød vores ophold. Rigtig god og varieret all inklusive. Rigtig dejlig atmosfære - hyggeligt og smukt dag og nat. Rummeligt ude og inde (selvom hotellets var fuldt booket!). Gode muligheder for aktiviteter til børn og voksne. Fin varietet underholdning om aftenen. Stor anbefaling!

Perfect! We have just stayed at Heritage Awali for 9 nights and we loved it! The hotel is beautiful and on the most stunning stretch of beach. It’s postcard perfect! The room was really clean and the overall service we received was 10/10. The staff make this hotel what it is! As vegetarians and one child having a dairy allergy, the hotel could not have done more to accommodate our needs. Rohit who works at the Infinity restaurant was just AMAZING, along with Jayshnee! They went out of their way to ensure sure we were looked after every single day and Chef Deo made us the yummiest food that suited our diet. Chef Harjit who heads up the Indian restaurant was also really accommodating and the food was fab! We can’t wait to go back and are already planning another visit next year! We thoroughly recommend this kid-friendly hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Mauritius! You will have a great holiday if you stay here! :)

Molto bella e ben posizionata la struttura. La spiaggia è un po' troppo piena di coralli e alghe in prossimità della riva. Il mare è bello ma è sempre presente una corrente parallela alla spiaggia più o meno forte a secondo dei giorni che è abbastanza fastidiosa. Il personale è cortese ma il ristorante non sempre eccelle. Si passava da una pasta perfettamente cucinata di un giorno, alla pasta collosa del giorno successivo!!!

Wir hatten einen wirklich wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Heritage Awali. Das Hotel bietet einen klasse Service mit vielen Goodies für Honeymooners. Pro: - sehr schöne gepflegte Anlage mit einer tollen Begrünung und liebevoll gestalteten Details, die Gestaltung der Anlage war für uns ein absolutes Highlight, tolles urlaubsfeeling - hilfsbereites und nettes Personal - tolle Sportanlage mit Tennisplätzen und vielen inkludierten Wasseraktivitäten etc. - viele verschiedene Liegemöglichkeiten (von ruhigeren Spots bis zu der Möglichkeit sich direkt an der Bar zu platzieren - all inclusive - die verschiedene Essensoptionen bieten für jeden Geschmack etwas (Seafood sollte man allerdings schon mögen) - schöner kleiner Spa mit sehr netten Personal - es gibt jeden Abend die Möglichkeit Live-Musik zu genießen Cons: - Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber trotzdem sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und sauber mit schönem Balkon/Terrasse - In Sachen Nachhaltigkeit ist noch Luft nach oben. Die veralteten Kühlschränke auf den Zimmern sollten ausgetauscht werden. Außerdem hört die Klimaanlanlage nicht bei der wunschtemperatur auf, sondern läuft dauerhaft, nachhaltige Wasserflaschen gibt es aber

We have stayed at many resorts in Mauritius, but this was by far the most disappointing. From check-in there was a confusion about my payment, I had already paid online yet, the resort claimed there was a balance. All inclusive stay, however all activities were fully booked whenever we asked. I don’t understand why they resort doesn’t increase capacity. The staff at the reception seemed disinterested, and could care less to offer any solutions. Food options at the Savannah was very limited. Grilled Tuna for 3days. The other restaurants were either always fully-booked or no kids allowed. Request to check out at 1pm was rejected and Was forced to check out by 12. Requested baggage pickup at 11:45, only for it to arrive at 12:30!

The personal touch provided to my family was unique, staff saying hello to my son by name regularly and going above and beyond to address issues. Main issue I had with our stay, was that the hotel was quiet which led to the buffet being shut and as a result we alternated between two restaurants for a week which made the food boring in the end. The quality was good, just repetitiveness was the only downside

Super Hotel
Super Hotel mit äußerst freundlichem Personal Zimmer schön eingerichtet und groß (Matratze sehr hart) Hotel wie neu Personal unglaublich freundlich und es sind viele Angestellte Top Ausstattung, vor allem auch für Freizeitaktivitäten Spa ist ok, leider nicht soooo gut... Essen im Buffet und in den Restaurant ist wirklich sehr gut. Bei uns wurde das Buffet aber 3 Tage geschlossen und Mittags wurde auf Snacks umgestellt -> warum wurde nicht erklärt. Auch schien es so, als würden die Wasserflaschen ausgehen (es gab dann nur mehr Wasser mit Chlor oä.) und auch der Kaffee änderte sich ständig. (Finde ich nicht ok) Der Service in allen Restaurants aber Top. Wetter im Juni ist nichts für einen Badeurlaub. Nur September bis Mitte Dezember laut den Einheimischen! Unsere Koffer kamen Tage später an -> Hotelangestellte haben uns super unterstützt. Danke!
