I love this hotel- it has a great vibe and awesome views of London across the river Thames. Perfect location for south bank theatres and a multitude of other restaurants. My only feedback is breakfast lacks any imagination- maybe an a la carte menu to choose a freshly cooked alternative to like warm buffet options?

The service at the Sea Containers was exceceptional from start to finish. All members of the team were extremely helpful and were always on hand if needed. Hotel is in a prime location and is upkept to a high standard. Have great onsite facilities including the 12th knot bar which has a stunning view across London as well as being a great bar. During my stay I actually proposed to my girlfriend so have to give a special mention to Vanessa and the rest of the team as they arranged the presentation of flowers, ballons etc to truly make make the occasiona one to remember

Overall amazing experience in this 5 stars hotel that wasn’t overpriced for our stay (3 nights in March 2024). 👍 The liner team is really nice and to see a different message displayed next to the reception everytime we were going down was fun 👍 The staff was very professional and friendly, from the moment we stepped in to the last day of our stay 👍 The view from the rooftop bar was outstanding, and overall the hotel has plenty of interesting amenities (gym and even a cinema !) 👍 The rooms are quite and very comfy, bed extra comfortable, the TV has a mounting system that allows you to put it right in front of the bed an HDMI port accessible from the desk… very smart! 👎 They are not enough transparent about their prices : we got charged an extra £6 per day without being told?! I had to complain after the fact and we got reimbursed. Also there’s items available in the mini-bar, snacks and other useful items, but prices for these were nowhere to be found. 👎 Breakfast is their weak point. For a 5 stars hotels it’s nothing extraordinary, and they charge you extra if you want a latte or cappuccino?! Indecent. They only have basic americano. There was no staff available to make omelets as we like them. They were only offering basic scrambled eggs. 👎 The rooftop 12th Knot bar is very loud at night. The music is so high you can barely hear yourself talk.

8/10 - I contacted them three times, using three different methods, before our stay, and they never once responded. Contacted them using the " contact us" form on their website, I emailed them, and I contacted them through Expedia where we booked our stay. None of these advanced contacts were answered. One point deducted for that. Moving beyond that, we really had a lovely stay. It's a great location near Blackfriars And all the South Bank has to offer. I stayed here once when it was the Mondrian, and I'd say the staff this time around was a notch above that stay. This is right next to the Hilton Bankside, And while they are both great hotels, I prefer the Hilton and will likely stay there moving forward. The bankside offered us drinks on arrival, including a nice hot whiskey which was welcome on a cold day. No such offering from sea containers. The bankside also had daily snacks in our room from local businesses... A lovely touch. No such offering from sea containers. And finally the bank side rushed to our vehicle to grab our luggage before walking in, no such service from sea containers. Rooms are bigger and fresher at bankside. And I prefer their hair and skin products the bankside uses over the Malin and Goetz used at Sea Containers. Bank side also has access to steel and sparkling water in all of their hallways, self-serve. Sea containers Left bottles of still water in the room, but no access to sparkling. Between the two, Bankside wins.

A service from the moment we walked through the front door until the time we checked out! Loved the food at the restaurants and the nightime entertainment. The view of the Thames River was amazing! Room service was lightening fast! Sea Containers made our stay “easy” and enjoyable, and it is in the epicenter of everything in London! Wonderful staff!!

The service was superb!! Friendly, helpful and welcoming atmosphere. Most certainly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in London - we have stayed at a few! The level of cleanliness and attentive service from check in, room service, housekeeping and check out was impeccable. Be sure to visit the 12 Knot bar, again, impeccable and attentive service.
