I was travelling alone and ended up in the hospital alone. After surgery I had to have one night in a hotel to get ready to fly back home the day after. I booked the Radisson since I have always felt it is a safe choice. I told the reception I came from surgery and therefore needed a hand with the luggage. When I got to the room the room was down a very steep staircase and I couldnt carry the suitcase down. I got mooved to a new room. Extremely small. With pipes running over the bed and making loud noises the whole night. I asked if the reception could help me with transport to the hotell and i also asked how much time i needed to get there. 30-40 minutes they said. The driver came in the morning but the ride took 1,5 hour. I ended up missing my flight. They later offered me a free night when i wrote an honest review.

Clean, good location, but dated and small rooms
The rooms I have stayed in at The Sussex Hotel are very dated and incredibly small. They have one slow lift that is used by guests an staff. Friendly and helpfull staff. Excellent breakfast. Good location close to Oxford Street, tube station and Hyde Park.

Veldig bra hotell, men små rom
Hotellet ligger kjempe sentralt til og det var rent og pent. Det var veldig bra tilbud på rom i form av te/kaffe, såper på bad osv. Men - jeg hadde et singel rom og det var det minste rommet jeg har sovet på noen gang! Er fullstendig klar over at det er små rom i London, og har bodd i små rom der før, men dette var kun en seng og et lite bad. Fikk først et rom hvor jeg ikke kunne legge koffert på gulvet og satt med knærne i veggen da man satt på do. Her var aircondition ødelagt/veldig bråkete så byttet rom kl. 23 på en fredagskveld. Fikk god hjelp i resepsjonen og de var raskt ute med å finne et nytt rom. Fortsatt en single, men her fikk jeg plass til koffert på gulvet, så det var noe bedre. Frokost var veldig god og inkludert i prisen, de ansatte var hyggelige og alt i alt var det et veldig bra opphold. Vil ikke nøle med å anbefale, men vær obs på romstørrelse. Jeg kommer tilbake, men da skal jeg booke et dobbeltrom selvom jeg er alene.

Kjempe fornøyd
Fantastisk hotell. Skal du på shopping er dette en plass å anbefale. Kort vei til Primark og undergunden. Kjempe hjelpsomme personer i resepsjonen. Det ene lille minus er bare er 1 heis, men for meg var det en bagatell. Neste tur skal jeg tilbake hit.

Jeg anbefaler ingen å velge dette hotellet. Det ligger veldig sentral men om nettene så er det bråk hele tiden. Vann systemet på hotellet lager lyder også. Veldig trang heis og veldig trang heis. De lovte meg penger tilbake også ettersom vi sjekket ut to dager før, men har ikke hørt noe fra dem ennå.
