Well, this was an experience. After a lot of misunderstandings from the hotel before check-in, and some quite insulting affairs, they did apologise by upgrading our room free of charge.
The rooms are very comfortable with really fantastic beds, a good shower and a huge fridge. It definitely needs a deep clean though, as it was very clear that it hadn't been done in a while. The fridge was super sticky and filthy when we checked in, but we decided to ignore it a bit in the comfort of the couch and bed. It really was perfectly placed, and really a nice stay for our purpose, and we will definitely consider returning to this one on our next trip.
However! I would not recommend the breakfast as both our table and 3 other nearby tables got sick from it, and that's only the ones we sat near.
We ended up just getting our second day breakfast from the nearby shops instead.
The hallways also have the worst scent of rotten grapefruit mixed with olive oil and lavender - Luckily it doesn't blend into the rooms, so it just turns into a talking point on the way in and out of the hotel.
