Our go-to hotel in London
Our experience with The Bloomsbury was fantastic and we will definitely keep coming back in the future (we have visited London once a year the past 13 years). - All the staff were very friendly and helpful - The rooms was of decent size and clean - Very good location. Short walking distance to the underground, SoHo, Piccadilly Circus etc.

Nice hotel at excellent location, but a few issues
Excellent location close to Tottenham Court Road and The British Museum. Good service and friendly staff, but relatively expensive, even for London. Good sized room, though. Not 100% sure about the cleaning (found some snacks wrapping from the last (?) guests behind the desk). They also made 2 deposit reservations on my credit card, and even though I got both back, that seems like a bit dodgy practice.

Min kone og jeg har tilbragt romjulen i London noen ganger. Dette er første gang vi har bodd på Bloomsbury, men vi er begge enige om at det er det beste hotellet i London vi har opplevd! Super beliggenhet og veldig god service fra et utrolig hyggelig personale. Vi hadde et stort og fint rom og var flere kvelder i baren. Den bare anbefales på det varmeste! Bestilte transfer via hotellet fra hotellet til flyplassen når vi dro. Både billig og behagelig...

Strålende beliggenhet og flott hotell!
Veldig bra beliggenhet, stille og rolig med kun en kort spasertur til Oxford Street og Soho. Bodde 3 netter med 3 barn (6, 8 og 11 år). Restauranten på hotellet kan anbefales både til lunsj og middag. I baren (The Coral Room) er det kun tillatt for voksne, veldig kul bar med god og avslappet stemning. Frokosten er OK! Ryddig, rent, pene rom og god service.

Sentralt, hyggelig, rent, pent møblert,fint bad
Vi ble godt mottatt før inngangen, hjelpsom ung mann ville bære alt. Hyggelige unge menn, de fant steder vi lette etter, var oppriktig interessert i hvordan vi hadde det. Frokosten var i dyreste laget. Vi regner med å bruke dette hotellet hver gang vi er i London, lekkert og sentralt, flott betjening.

One of the best hotel stays ever! The staff was amazing, friendly, helpful and really made you feel important. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. We especially loved the Coral Room. The beds were very good! Breakfast was great, cocktails were great in the Coral Room and the Bloomsbury Club. Dinner was excellent at Dalloway Terrace. I miss it already. The location was close to the Underground and bus stop but many attractions are very walkable. I miss it already!

The Bloomsbury is a stylish, well located and comfortable hotel with one of the best staffs I’ve encountered in my travels. Everyone was unfailingly courteous and friendly and made us feel very well taken care of. The Coral Room is a delightful spot for a drink and serves excellent coffee and breakfasts. And our room, although small, was immaculate and very well fitted out. Highly recommended!

The hotel was sparklingly clean and the staff was very kind. I had an absolutely lovely visit. The room was on the smaller side, but since I was staying by myself, that did not bother me (if I had stayed there with my husband, it would have felt a bit crowded). Transportation-wise, it’s very convenient since it’s a step away from a subway station, but there weren’t too many options for breakfast in the area, so I ended up eating at the hotel. All in all, one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in London and I will be back.

The staff at the hotel is outstanding. It’s perfectly good for the price point but needs a refresh of paint, carpets, lighting, etc. The room is quite comfortable, but ours was very dark with insufficient lighting and a really dodgy view of a giant and dirty exhaust panel, which all together was off putting. The room is large and we had a king with just enough room for a cot. There should not be a charge for a cot, that was disappointing. The condition of the room was fine and clean but not at all impressive. A little worn out and a number of small broken or damaged items. That said, everyone was lovely and charming. The location cannot be beat.

The Bloomsbury Hotel is a historic building in a great location. The Dalloway Terrace offers decent food and The Corral Room is a beautiful bar with a good selection of beverages. The staff are friendly and attentive. The commissioned poetry and poet portraits are a nice touch to celebrate its literary connections. Please could the hotel stock more low alcohol or alcohol free beverages (ales, lagers and wines). There was a strange plumbing noise on the third floor that slightly marred my enjoyment of the room. That said, I did have a lovely stay. Thank you.

I loved this place. The service was excellent. We had daily room service twice a day. The location was amazing. It was so cozy I loved the fireplace in the hall area. I would definitely go back.

Lovely stay at the Bloomsbury for Christmas. I felt well taken care of most of the trip. Had an unfortunate encounter with staff in the jazz bar, and would recommend avoiding that area if you are a single female. Otherwise, a lovely stay and would come back.
