Please Read: Owner Cancelled at time of Check In
First, you can check my profile that I don't think I have ever given a review with less than 5 stars. So, something really must have gone wrong and it did. Two days before our arrival, VRBO confirmed our stay and said to contact the host if we do not receive our passcode for entry. As I hadn't received anything from the Owner, I emailed the her through the VRBO website. Heard nothing. The day of our arrival, I emailed and texted the host again. No response. At the time of our check in (4pm), the host said that she cancelled our reservation and VRBO should have contacted me. I called VRBO and they hadn't received a cancellation from our host prior to our check in time. They were gracious enough to cover our hotel cost for the first night, but we were on our own after that. The Owner stated the reason for the cancellation was Minimum Age Requirement. My wife and I are both 54 and our in-law are in their 80s. How old (or young) do you have to be to rent! My best guess is that the host either has to get approval from someone else to rent the property, and won't know until very near check in, or she lives there and needs to find another place to live while she rents her place out. In any case, you are gambling (see my Vegas connection) with your reservation if you book this place.

Place and location was good. Cox cable not working so no WiFi or TV for five days!! Communication to owner was slow. One fan in the room did not work. I would not rent again with Vrbo again and certainly not this property

DOUBLE BOOKED AND LEFT ME STRANDED
I was moving out of my house in Vegas and going to another state. After a LONG couple of days we finished up at our home and drove over to this house we reserved just to find out someone else was already staying there!! It's late in the evening and we had nowhere to go!!! I paid for 2 nights and still haven't seen my refund!!! This was the worst experience ever!! We were driving around with a u-haul and 2 cars trying to find out what to do!

The vrbo was very clean, nice and spacious. The listing was right before we checked in and we were confused as it was changed to only sleeps 4 and we had reserved a place for 7. Anyway it turned out to be great!!!

Family weekend
Property was nice and quiet neighborhood. Interior was clean, except for the kitchen had food on the floor and the first bathroom was not clean at all. I had to clean it. Look like someone showered, using one of the towel rags. Bathroom towels are white, but have many stains. Managing the property won’t technology you until day of. Check-in says four, but I didn’t get code to door until five and that is only because I had to message manager. I did try to communicate way before hand. I tried to communicate that I booked, which was two weeks in advance, and I tried to communicate week of, Three days prior since I didn’t receive any type of acknowledgment, I called management and was advised to wait until day to get information again I received that information late until five. No checkout instructions, I advised Manager I put all of the towels in the washer. I did not start washer just in case. Communicated we washed dishes and cleaned up after ourselves, but I did not rewash the bathroom overall, not bad

Not great…
Better communication would help a lot. Arrival instructions were not provided until checkin time. If you are a planner this can cause a lot of extra stress. The door code did not work on arrival but the host responded within minutes with an updated code. There was no wifi or departure information. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty and had to be rewashed before use. The house smells too strongly of plug in air fresheners, and the house needs more bedding; extra blankets and better pillows. If you are traveling for a soccer tournament the house is 4 min from the Bettye Wilson complex which is perfect if you are playing at those fields.

No Communication With Management
The manager of this property would not communicate with me AT ALL. The only time I received a response is when I sent a photo of damaged trim around the attic access. Additionally, upon arrival, the yard was overgrown, and trash cans were strewn across the driveway. We also did not receive any access instructions, including the entry code for the front door, despite leaving a voicemail, and sending a message, asking for help. I guessed the code (the property address number), and got lucky that it worked. On top of the lack of communication directly with the property management, there was no information on how to access the on-property wifi, check out expectations, etc. This was extremely frustrating, as we did not know if the property manager wanted towels/bedding to be washed before we left, or if any other housekeeping items needed to be completed. The location of the property was great, and it served it's purpose for our two night stay, but the lack of communication with the property manager is inexcusable. I would NOT recommend this property for that reason alone.

Buyer Beware
The price was right, the location good and the neighborhood ok. Began touching base with the Host 2.5 weeks prior to arrival. No response what so ever. I had no idea if we really had a place to stay when we arrived, or not. Had to contact VRBO and they got in touch w the Host. The only contact provided with this Host is through the Portal, which they ignored. When their telephone number was made available 24 hrs prior to check in, they didn't answer, or return the call. I have never had this type of experience with any VRBO property. The house is filthy. The heating vents throughout the house had not been cleaned and had such a thick layer of dust and grime and black dust blowing out. The heating vent over the kitchen counter was greasy and dirty--insulation was visible from the ductwork . The plates in the cabinets were dirty; probably explains the live and dead roaches. The house smelled of strong perfume from the plug in air fresheners in every room to mask odors. Long black hair in one of the beds and both showers were full of hair and didn't drain very well. The master toilet was not clean. There were no house instructions (i.e. wifi pw, or check out instructions). I own a vacation rental myself and I just can't imagine how anyone can offer such a filthy house and poor communications. This was family time for us as we live on different coasts. We only wanted to cook, play board games and enjoy family time. Instead, we stayed away and ate out. Unforgiveable.

Great Home
Great house. Lots of room. Extremely clean when we arrived. Beautiful, clean bathrooms, spotless kitchen with newer stainless appliances. Backyard with gas grill and miniature pool table. Our two Golden Retrievers had lots of room to play inside and outside. Would definitely stay again.

This property was very nice everything that was on the site was accurate. All the beds were comfortable and had plenty of supplies when staying at other Vrbo needed to get supplies we really did not need anything extra here very appreciative for all the supplies they provided.

The Price Is Right
Our group had six adults and three dogs staying at this rental. With that being said, the price could not be beat! Communication with the owner was good, check-in and check-out was simple, and the home is as depicted in the listing. The neighborhood itself is probably not the best in the area, but certainly not the worst. The area in which this home is located is close to the freeway, and eating and shopping establishments are within a few minute's drive. The home was comfortable, met our needs, and was clean on the surface. The fact this is a pet friendly home says a lot however, and periodic deep cleanings of this house should be a must.

The location was good. 5 min walk to the park with our dogs. And good distance away from the strip and other parts of Vegas we like to go to. Good communication with owner. However, the place lacked a lot of amenities in the kitchen. It had the basics for dishes but that was all there was and no blankets. The beds had thin coverlets so we had to use the throw blankets. The cleanliness was just on the surface/superficial. The other bedroom had this wall unit at the foot of the bed that had like 6 inches of space in between.

ZERO Communication
We tried to contact the host regarding three different issues. We used the VRBO web site, we texted, and we left voicemails. The host never responded, except when we gave up and called VRBO. Even now, after texting a week ago about a change in dates, we have heard nothing from the host. Also, be aware of the fact that this property comes without even salt, pepper, and oil. Couldn’t even fry our own egg the first morning.
