Thank you for your review. Yes, we do have an advantage of being very well located to make easy access to various areas of Durban. We are glad we could make your stay as comfortable as possible. We know that guests visit our beautiful city for various reasons, thank you for allowing us to be part of your memories during your stay in Durban. Travel safe.

A beautiful house with lovely spacious rooms. Breakfast was great and we had a fab buffet to choose from despite us leaving incredibly early. Parking was secure and easy. The bathroom needed some work with the shower broken and it was difficult to use without flooding the bathroom. The tv and tea facilities were both great.

Thank you for the review. Yes indeed ... Comrades weekend is always a day of VERY early breakfasts for runners and supporters / but we do also serve cooked breakfasts from 7am for those supporters who leave later in the morning (once the runners have all been dropped off started their race) I am not sure which room you were in, we have checked the showers in the rooms and will keep an ear out to ask if there are issues with other guests... but The more I am thinking ... (because this is anonymous I can only assume it was one of the Expedia bookings) One group of guests had the Family Wheel chair friendly room which has a Wet room (shower has no doors ) If it was that room then the shower was not broken / it is a wet room. We do keep an extra towel on the floor to avoid water getting into the opposite area of the wet room. (It would be appreciated if you could confirm if it was the Family room with wet room... otherwise I am not sure which shower it is that needs work) I do appologize about not pointing that out to you at the time Web booking came through. We will make sure to point that out to future guests using that room.... it is a rather unusual set up. Regards Trisha The Grange Guest House

A place to stay
Perfect place to stay if you visiting Durban. You can easely walk to restaurants in 10 min of walking distance. Area super safe no problem to walk over there,. Host great, always available and gives some good advices. Nice room and superbe décoration. I recommend this place!!!

The place is quite amazing. We arrived late and they checked us in without any hassle. The bed was nice and the pillows were extra fluffy. It was a real pleasure

le personnel est IRRÉPROCHABLES et aceuillants. Le quartiers super sécurisé et tranquille. Les chambres sont super spatieuses, petit déjeuné au top, tout est propre et on se sent comme à la maison. Hôte au petit soin, impliqué et soucieuse.

Thoroughly recommend!
Staff were excellent and extremely welcoming - they went above and beyond. The property is clean, stylish and comfortable with a pool, lounging area and patio. Feels like a home which was lovely and I really enjoyed my stay.

Great stay!
Amazing service and close enough to walk to many restaurants and shops. We felt very safe. Breakfast was cooked to order and was amazing!

Trisha ist eine sehr nette und liebenswerte Managerin die uns viele gute Tipps und Informationen über Durban gegeben hat. Bei Abreise hatte unser Mietwagen einen platten Reifen. Trisha hat sich sofort und unaufgefordert um Austausch des Autos gekümmert, so dass wir nach Johannesburg weiter fahren konnten. Toller Empfang durch den lieben und süßen Haushund. Angenehmer Aufenthalt, tolles Anwesen in gehobener Lage.

Top Unterkunft in sehr sicherer Gegend !!!!
Nachdem sehr freundlichen Empfang bezogen wir unser Self catering Zimmer (kleine Wohnung ) . In der etwas älteren Küche war alles vorhanden was zum Kochen notwendig ist. Küche & Wohnizimmer sind vom SZ und Badezimmer getrennt. Zimmer wirkte neu renoviert und war sehr sauber. Restaurant & Supermärkte in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt !!!!

Accueil chaleureux et excellent séjour
Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cette maison d'hôte située dans un quartier riche de la banlieue nord de Durban mais avec un accès facile à la ville, du moins en auto. L'accueil a été des plus chaleureux et nous avons reçu d'excellents conseils pour visiter Durban. Nous avions un petit cottage à côté de la maison principale avec une salle de bain, une chambre, une cuisine et un petit salon, parfait pour l'intimité. Bons petits déjeuners.

Can't Go Wrong if you choose the Grange
I just spent a week at the Grange. So lovely! Trisha, the manager is the best! She attended to my every need, gave easy directions & excursion tips. The house is fabulous! Rm 6 has a nice rooftop deck with plants, table & chairs for snacking, smoking... Very safe neighborhood in close proximity to Broadway Rd dining & shops. Easy access to the M4 to head up to Umschlanga or into Durban. I enjoyed everything about my stay.

Very good place! My only gripe was the poor wi-fi signal in my room. Other than that, I'm happy. I will definitely be returning

Everything was perfect. We felt really welcome and we had a great time. Location is fine, room clean, beds very good and the staff is in one word perfect! If we ever stay in Durban again we will stay in this guesthouse again. You are really a guest there but also part of the family!

Das Zimmer war schön - aber leider fühlt man sich ziemlich allein in der Anlage. Es gab keine Tipps oder Anregungen der Inhaber, tatsächlich haben wir sie nur einmal kurz beim Frühstück gesehen. Auch das Personal trifft man kaum und uns wurde nicht wirklich weitergeholfen. Insgesamt waren wir also recht enttäuscht, da wir von anderen Pensionen einfach besseren Service gewohnt waren...

Great guest house with view on the sea
Very quiet and nice guest house. The owner is a very friendly, quiet and nice person. The house is always perfectly clean, the rooms are very confortable and quiet. The breakfast offers a large choice of food. There is a swimming pool. The htel is well loacted and close to the beach (4 minutes drive). Was a very good stay.

Enjoyed my stay, but your website stated that the cottage has airconditioning and it did not have any. They had another room available that has airconditioning, thus no harm-no foul. Please update the site. Thanks
