Check-in is at 4 p.m. I arrived after 6 p.m. due to flight delays and my room wasn’t ready. I left to grab something to eat to kill time. The appeared as if it was made instead of fresh linen. The base of the toilet had pee on it, and the bathroom floor was dirty. The room was located at the side entrance where guests enter and exit through out the night. It was like I was punished because I didn’t check in at 4 p.m. Upon checking in I told the lady at the front desk I needed to speak to a manager because I shouldn’t have to wait on my room two hours after check-in time. She conveyed to me that a manager would be in the next morning and they were short staffed. That’s not my problem. I paid for a service up front and was highly disappointed. As I checked out, a couple employees made a code-gesture as if it were the code for, “Whiner/Complainer.” I don’t normally say anything, but this experience took the cake. Employees at places as such need to realize the customers pay their salaries. Plus, if they don’t like their jobs, they should quit! I would not recommend any take their family there.
