Perfect stay. One recommendation: the water kettle in the room is too small, I need to refill tea pot a few times. Everything else is all good.

My stay was good. The location is fantastic and the owner and receptionist were very helpful and kind! Place could use more lightings inside and outside the rooms. I think the price was high for this place. Overall, it was fine and had no issues.

Parfait.
Superbe endroit, digne de l’histoire de Florence et des traditions de l’hospitalité a l’italienne. La suite « luxe » est superbe (inadaptée ceci dit aux personnes à mobilité réduite en raison d’un escalier) et le petit déjeuner plus que mémorable. L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter la ville. Merci encore à Daniella et Ricardo pour leur gentillesse et leurs conseils.

I barely have words to tell you what a wonderful place this is. Daniella, the owner, made us feel so at home and cooked us the most amazing breakfast every morning. Ricardo shared his knowledge of the area and what restaurants to go to. Perfect location… just blocks from the duomo and the museum with the statue of David. Walking distance to train station.

Sehr positiv war der Service und Das sicher ausgiebige individuelle Frühstück. Man fühlt sich zu jederzeit sehr wohl. Das Zimmer und die Qualität insbesondere Elektro und Bad waren sicherlich durchschnittlich oder schlechter. Hier bedarf es sicherlich mal eine Renovierung. Es ist halt ein altes Haus und dort ist es nicht immer ganz einfach Sanierungen sehr gut durchzuführen. Im großen Ganzen hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Preisleistung erscheint etwas hoch.

We had the most amazing stay at Palazzo Tolomei. It felt like we were sleeeping in a museum! Absolutely beautiful and the owner and staff were all so so lovely and helpful. Amazing breakfast too, couldn't recommend staying here enough!

This was an amazing hotel with a wonderful and warm owner and staff. The breakfasts were amazing; they were the best we have ever had in a hotel with the only problem being too much good food. The hotel is convenient to seeing anything in Florence. We would go back to Florence just to stay there

Ophold i Palazzo Suite var rammen på vores 23 års bryllupsdag. Palzzo skuffede ikke, svær at beskrive, men skal opleves. Eneste udfordring var at skulle forlade værelset for at spise ude og se lidt af Firenze. Heldigvis havde vi 3 dage i Firenze forinden Palazzo.

This was the best place to stay in order to capture the true spirit of the city! It is situated in the heart of the city and just a short walk from many of the major attractions. What makes Palazzo Tolomei exceptional is the staff! The team prepare an amazing traditional breakfast each morning and provide reception in the evening with traditional drinks like sambuca and limoncello and chocolates! The ceilings contain frescoes and the furnishings are tasteful and comfortable. This will be my Florentine home whenever I visit in the future.

Amazing Palazzo
Beautiful, historic building. The rooms are large and lovely with 20 foot high ceilings. The owner and staff are kind, helpful and informative. The breakfast is delicious! The location is fantastic for walking anywhere in the city. We appreciated that it was close enough to the train station to walk with our roll around suitcases. Definitely staying there next time we are in Florence!

The picture does not lie! And who needs TV when you can just stare at those paintings on the ceiling. Lovely people, lovely place, the prime location (walking distance to everything, station, duomo, museums, shopping, eating steak) lovely lovely breakfast! We both fell in love with the place. Hospitality was overwhelming. Breakfast buffet and rooms unique, exactly what to expect from an Italian palazzo. Also the location in the center is ideal for sightseeing. Since it is a really old palace, the numerous stairs might be challenge for elderly or handicapped visitors. Nevertheless, the place is extremely charming and there is an elevator.

An amazing stay in an amazing little hotel. Historic building so some of the things you take for granted in a large modern hotel are modified or not available. But it is a beautiful building and the rooms are great. Staff is outstanding and will go the extra mile. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Breakfast is something special. And lastly, the location is perfect for getting around the historic sites. Will definitely return here on my next visit to Florence.

The Palazzo dates from the 15 hundreds and the rooms on the first floor, or piano nobile, have spectacular, oringinal frescoed ceilings with spacious windows while the rooms on the second floor have intricately designed wooden ceilings. A gorgeous place to stay in the heart of Florence. The owner and staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. We got a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolate cookies upon checking in. We’ve travelled a lot but never got a reception like this before. Our room is more like a 2-bedroom apartment with a very large patio that has the view of the Duomo. I highly recommend staying in this place. Will go back for sure!
