Godd wi fi. Food in restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was also plentiful and great quality. Great location. Ample Free Parking. Decent room size and comfort.

Visiting family so was convenient for that.staff were very pleasant and accomodating. Dining room was pleasant. Breakfast was adequate. The beds and linen in our room were clean. The bathroom really needs an upgrade, as do the doors. The room was dusty. With the above comments I feel the cost of the room overpriced.

A Little Dated, but a Regular Stayer

Excellent stay
Really enjoyed it! The room was big and the bed incredibly comfortable. All the staff we met were really pleasant and we ate in the bar in the end because the weather was so awful and it was really lovely. Great stay - thank you everyone

I didn’t get the room that was in the description online that I had paid for, we had a lack of towels and pillows, in the room there was meant to also be a sofa bed which was not there. The bed was a lot smaller than the website stated. There was a door in the room that led to the room next door with only a bit of cardboard between the door and the next room. Made us feel very insecure. The food the next morning tasted extremely cheap with small portion sizes. When we arrived to check in the staff were coming across like we were an inconvenience, not welcoming and didn’t give off any nice feelings for our stay.

Nice clean large room, good cooked to order breakfast, ample free parking. shame more hotels don't have aircon as the room was quite warm although there was a small portable fan supplied in the room.

motor noise in room from loft area shower was old but work ok. limescale around cold tap and pink mould in toilet. generally tidy and clean room just needed attention to detail

Comfy bed in a warm, spacious room. Friendly staff. Big fluffy towels. A lot of road noise and the grouting in the bathroom needs cleaning.

Not the best.
Not the worst and not the best. Receptionist was miserable on checking and was not friendly at all which is just what you want after a 3 hour drive. Room was old and in need of modernisation and new carpets and bathroom. Wasnt particularly clean either and ended up rewashing our cups etc but then its 3 star so cant expect too much but found it rather pricey given there were cheaper hotels around which looked nicer. I wouldnt stay here again

Shame rooms not up to standard.
Room 23 was nice but disappointed with condition of bathroom. Reception staff agree to move to us to another but on her inspection bathroom also in poor dirty condition so moved us to an executive room which was also disappointing due to loads of cobwebs on light and all around the coving which was mentioned to the staff. Bathroom again was disgusting, when lifted toilet seat two yellow stains when lifted seat hairs on bowl, the hand held shower head could not used don't think ever cleaned, paint peeling and mold on ceiling, extractor fan not cleaned in a while, mirror on bath panel splashes all along it and several other issues. Very disappointed, this was a treat for us both which was needed so didn't want to make a fuss but thought should share would not want anyone to experience. Reception staff understanding and helpful. Restaurant food and staff excellent. Breakfast and staff excellent.

Paid for an executive suite with a queen bed, the bedroom was gorgeous.. the bathroom however was more than disappointing. The shower head was COVERED in limescale, there was no toliet brush and it just looked and felt grubby and unclean. The bedroom however was nice but no adjustable heating. Good area, good for a nice short stay.
