When we came to check in the guy behind the desk had his ear buds in and was on the phone with someone. Clearly not a customer. I asked him if the room had two double beds and he said yes. He checked us into a king room. So I went back and this time he took off his ear bud and got us the correct room. In the room, the toilet was extremely loose.

I needed and booked a hotel with a full breakfast included. After 13 hours on the road I arrived at the hotel and was informed that they were renovating and the hot breakfast consisted of a frozen egg muffin sandwich and an receipt were differentpractically empty/cold coffee urn. What a rip-off!! To make matters worse, the amount Expedia charged and the hotel receipt were different. I will be disputing this stay with Expedia.

We were given the wrong room when we arrived. We were assigned to another room. In that room, there was a worker fixing the TV. After some time, he was asked to leave so we could go to bed. In the morning, we discovered that there were no towels in the room so we had to go to the front desk for them. They clearly weren’t prepared.

Worst check in experience ever!!
We booked online. When we got there a few hours later, the room had been used and not cleaned. Bed had been used and not changed, trash in waste basket. And no electricity in the room except for bathroom light. We could wait for them to clean the room and get a handyman to see if he could get electricity working. At 8:30 PM!! Not what we needed after a long day of driving with another one to go. We went to the desk for a refund so we could leave and book a different room. Worst check in experience we have ever had!

We checked-in at Comfort Inn & Suites Hotel (2802 S Main Street, Elk City, OK 73644) at 11:30pm on Fri, Jun 30, 2023 and checked out 7:30am on Sat, Jul 1, 2023. Room booked through Expedia under a name - Lacie Cupani. We continued our trip to NM. Around 10am on July 1st, 2023, I started to feel pain on skin of my back behind my right arm. My husband has taken photos at 10am on July 1st, I took 2nd photo at 1:30am on July 2nd . FIVE (5) red spots on my back near right arm. And also few tiny red spots are on left forearm close to my left elbow. They are slightly itching. I have also red spots on right cheek. Either hotel don't changed bedsheets or it is completely bed bugs infestations or both! Health Department shall obligate full cleaning up and we are demanding a full refund and will report to our attorney. I don't know what kind infection I got from this hotel and bed bugs. I cannot sleep right now normally as I was, feel tiredness, feel a pain and itchy skin, and a severe constant pain in my left elbow from July 2nd till today July 5th, 2023. All our Retreat trip japardazed. Health Department shall obligate hotels to stop being pet friendly! Hotels are for humans not canine families. Dogs and cats shall be placed in shelters or keep in the cars of their respective owners.

When we got to the hotel we were advised we couldn't check in. Site for this hotel read pet friendly, upon arriving we were told we couldn't check in with our dog. Reason being that they had re new the hotel and were no longer pet friendly. It was 11 pm and had no idea where we would be spending the night. How frustrating. Definitely would never recommend this hotel.

Did not know they were remodeling. The outside looked trashy because there were weeds knee high. My daughter was disappointed the pool wasn’t working. Not much for breakfast so we had to go eat out. No laundry working and we needed to do laundry. Receptical cover in the room was missing causing exposed electrical wires. A lot of noise from neighbors and up stairs a kid was running the halls. Bathroom was really small. If I knew they were renovating I wouldn’t of stayed here. I had already paid and it was not refundable so we had no choice to stay.

Great customer service. Building being remodeled, the finished parts looked great. The ares that still needed redone was not clean. The "free breakfast" was the worst i have seen in a long time, wouldnt even call thR a breakfast.

Everywhere we went, safety hazards were everywhere, they don’t clean anything properly, they locked us out of our room when we didn’t even check out yet. No decent breakfast, they didn’t even stock the room fully. They don’t keep up with their property or their pool when it showed the pool was open when we booked. Overall worst experience. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying there!

Remodeling, turned us away because we brought our pet, told us to take it up w/ Travelocity. Travelocity said they needed a waiver from hotel. Hotel doesn’t answer the phone. Comfort website said pet friendly 😟 .

The Hotel Was Under Construction
The staff was great, but the hotel was a bit of a mess at this time due to construction. Our room was big and open and newly remodeled. The bathroom newly remodeled also, but was tiny. The toilet was so close to the ground that it was a bit hard for even a healthy person to get up off. It was perfect for 4-12 year olds. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes while showering or wet towels etc. There wasn't a mat to put in front of the bath/shower to step out on. We pre-paid and they knew that there would be three of us. There were only 2 towels and 2 washcloths. I hope when they get through with the remodel things will improve. The stuff that was wrong was minor except maybe for the toilet and if these things were fixed including a bit taller toilet then it would have been a good value.

Very Unhappy With this place
The people were very friendly and I understand that the place was under construction but it was horrible. I could provide you pictures of big gobs of dust hanging off the walls, frayed, yellowed and stained towels (but my photos are not accepted for some reason). Stairway doorknobs that did not work. Construction items laying everywhere. Laundry and ice machines not working. Very unhappy with this place.
