Det er bokstavelig talt på stranden, i den lille landsbyen Imerolia, noen få minutters gange fra Kassiopi, som er en av de mest attraktive byene på Korfu. Det er det perfekte stedet å slappe av og utforske øya og sette pris på dens fantastiske natur. 30 meter langs stranden er en av områdets beste tavernaer, som serverer fersk fisk og deilige lokale spesialiteter. Hvis du leter etter litt mer travelhet, bringer en 5-minutters spasertur deg inn i Kassiopi, hvor det er mange butikker, barer og restauranter som passer for enhver smak, og havnen der du kan leie en båt.

Superb Shoreside

Everything about our stay at Shoreside suited our large family perfectly. The house was big and extremely well equipped. There was a fab balcony looking over the wonderful Mediterranean garden and out to sea. Greatest of all, however, was the location. The luxury of having the back garden gate open onto the sea cannot be beaten. Kassiopi was easily reached in under ten minutes with plenty of dining options. We all had an amazing week.

Lovely villa by the sea

Had a great week in late May in this villa with my family. Flat walk into Kassiopi with plenty of tavernas in easy reach. Great balcony/terrace overlooking the bay with nesting swallows in residence. Very spacious and comfortable. Boys loved the table tennis and kayak. Great bakery in town for morning pastries. Kitchen well equipped including nespresso machine. Would love to return.

Summer

Herrlicher Ort zum entspannt Ferien machen! Sieben Personen haben sehr gut Platz in diesem schönen sauberen toll ausgestatteten Haus am Meer. Wir haben Kassiopi und seine Strände genossen, aber auch das Meer vor der Tür mit Kajak und SUP ausgekostet. Ein eigenes Auto ist von Vorteil, aber nicht zwingend erforderlich.

Wonderful Host and property

This beautiful house was spotless on our arrival and our first impressions were reinforced throughout or one week stay There was a good welcome pack of essentials, including wine(!) we also met the ladies who were preparing for our arrival as we were a little early, they were very friendly and gave us loads of good information for shopping and dining. The house is perfect for a holiday; right by the sea with a lovely view and direct access to the beach via a garden which is purpose built for sunbathing, bbqs and relaxing. Inside it is very well furnished and really comfortable, we settled straight in. There are plenty of good places to eat, drink and explore within a very short walk. Our favourite is the Imerolia Fish Taverna about 30 yards from the front door - although there are too many other good places in Kasiopi to list here - the recommendations in the owner’s welcome back are spot on. Excellent food was one of the highlights of our stay. Robin has communicated brilliantly with us from the moment we booked the house and we felt that he was very accurate, straightforward and easy to communicate with. There is nothing I could recommend to improve this wonderful place - it is the best holiday home we have ever stayed in and we have no hesitation in recommending both the location and the host. Thanks very much - it exceeded our expectations but a long way. We look forward to staying there again.

Outstanding villa in the perfect location

Everything about Shoreside puts you in the perfect place for a memorable holiday. The extensive balcony with a made to measure view is one of the highlights of the stay. You could spend the entire day watching the changing colours of the sea, the Albanian shoreline and mountains and a dramatic sky. The cleverly landscaped garden with a perfect barbeque area and a path leading to the sea, with plenty of shade or sun for you to enjoy dinner or a cocktail or the view to the beach adds a huge sense of comfortable opulence to Shoreside. You will love the walk down to the beach or the terrace with the well equipped chairs and sun loungers and kayak for exploring the bay. The fish taverna is just a few paces up the beach and Kassiopi a short stroll away for all kinds of dining choices or a water taxi for dinner in Old Corfu Town. My particular pleasure was falling asleep with the windows open to the sounds of the sea and cicadas. Shoreside is a little slice of heaven. Hopefully, it will not be too long before we are back there again.

Fabulous beach house

Fabulous house with garden gate straight onto the quiet beach. Different areas in the garden to sit, and large family area balcony with amazing view. A family home with everything you might need for a holiday. A short 10 minute walk into Kassiopi with lots of places to eat, we recommend Janis restaurant. Robin was very helpful and instantly replied to queries. The weather wasn't perfect but the house is a perfect house, even better than in the photos, for all weathers with plenty of space. Thank you

I didn't want to come home...

By far the best rental property we've stayed in - it had the generous feel of a family home, not the spartan atmosphere of properties furnished at minimum expense specifically for renting out. It was comfortable, well-equipped, tasteful, really spacious and the views and location are just perfect. Absolutely wonderful to walk straight through the garden (brimming with rosemary and sage) and onto the beach. All the time I was there, I felt as though I was living my very best life...loved it. Perfect for a holiday with adult children - enough room to spread out and all have our own bathroom!

Fantastic location where you can step out of the garden for a seaside swim

We had a really good time staying here. The villa itself is well equipped and spacious. Families can have a great time if they like swimming, kayaking and sunbathing. The only downside is the main road which is quite busy and unpleasant to negotiate on foot with a buggy when visiting nearby Kassiopi and for that reason it’s probably best to have car.

Great Introduction to Corfu

We were looking to find a property that suited a family holiday with our grown up children who are 2 x 18 and 1 x 21. The villa and its location were ideal to suit our needs. Very comfortable space, lots of seating areas, on the terrace, in the lounge and several places outside including right on the shoreline. The weather was idyllic, the fans & air con made the evenings and night time very pleasant. Easy 10 minute walk into Kassiopi, plenty of harbour side restaurants to enjoy, Nikolas Bakery very good and you can see the old baker taking his well-earned breaks at the front of the shop! We hired boats twice from Fillipos in Kassiopi Harbour (very helpful staff) to explore all the amazing coves, beaches and taverns. Lunch at Nikolas Taverna in Agni was excellent(good idea to book) and Agidos Stefanos was also a good place to stop. The highlight was the Imerolia Fish Tavern, the service was faster than McDonald’s for freshly prepared baby squid, and other fish dishes. It is literally 3 houses away from Shoreside on the same stretch of beach, ideal for a long lunch and a short stroll home. My daughter also liked Janis for food/cocktails. We would definitely stay again at this property, it is worth the 1 hour drive from the airport to find a small piece of paradise like this. Finally, the owner, Robin was very helpful & responsive to messages; he wanted to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. We hope we can find a slot in the diary to visit again next year

Happy holiday

We are a family of 5 and have just had a wonderful stay at this holiday house. The accommodation is even better than in the photos. My 3 children aged 11-16 all loved walking out of the back gate and straight into the water. The kayak was fantastic and enjoyed by all in the safe water. There are beautiful views from the terrace and we spent many an evening listening to music, playing cards and having drinks. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and is very spacious for either a family or friends. It's spotlessly clean and a real home from home. It's a 10-15 minute walk into Kassiopi. This was the only downside as it's a bit of a drag in the heat especially if you're carrying shopping. Once there though we found wonderful restaurants to eat at with varied menu choices. The harbour is stunning especially in the evening to sit by and enjoy cocktails! By day there are lovely small shops to wander around and some stunning beaches. The beaches are all pebbles and shingle but as long as your flips flops are nearby it's fine. The water is crystal clear and perfect for snorkeling as there are so many beautiful fish to spot. Overall we had a fabulous holiday and have loved visiting Corfu and Kassiopi in particular. Wonderful views in well located property.

One week holiday for 4 adults. Excellent communication with property owner, who was very responsive when we had unseasonably chilly weather and helped us locate a heater for the downstairs area. Villa itself was very clean and well stocked. Only small downside was the cushions and blankets in the patio area could do with a clean. Villa has fantastic views and is 10mins walk away from Kassiopi, which is mostly along a pavement.

Perfect Corfu Villa

My family had a delightful time in Imerolia at this lovely villa. The location was ideal- just steps from the sea and an easy 10 min walk to Kassiopi. The layout of the house was perfect as our teenage kids could have their space downstairs while also joining us on the upstairs deck for movies and family time. We have rented homes around the world and this is easily one of the best!

Das Meer vor der Tür!

Wir verbrachten wunderschöne Urlaubstage in diesem charmanten Haus in dem man sich gleich zu Hause fühlt. Bei der Ankunft war für kühle Erfrischungen liebevoll gesorgt und wir konnten alles wie beschrieben vorfinden. Was dieses Haus ganz besonders auszeichnet ist der direkte Strandzugang. Noch vor dem Frühstück direkt vom Bett aus im glasklaren Meer zu schwimmen ist ein Genuss! Als kleine sportliche Herausforderung betrachteten wir die Wendeltreppe vom Ober- in das Untergeschoss, wo weitere Stiegen in den Garten und zum Strand führen. Ein Dankeschön an Robin für seine Gastfreundschaft!

Superb villa with stunning views

Can’t recommend this villa enough. The location is perfect, right on the beach and so easy to walk into Kassiopi where there is great selection of restaurants and shops. We particularly enjoyed hiring a boat to explore the surrounding bays! The villa itself is very well laid out. A spacious living area for all 6 of us, a lovely garden and well equipped kitchen, more than just a holiday rental. Robin couldn’t have been more helpful and his helpers very charming. Thank you for a great stay.

Erholung direkt am Meer

Sehr schönes, voll ausgestattetes Ferienhaus direkt am Meer. Zur Anreise lag schon eine Grundausstattung im Kühlschrank und der Wein stand kalt. In ca. 5-10 Gehminuten erreicht man das gemütliche Örtchen Kassiopi. Weg dahin ist allerdings entlang der Landstrasse. Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür.Ein Auto ist auf jeden Fall von Vorteil, um die täglichen Dinge zu besorgen oder etwas zu unternehmen. Haus ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, wenn man Ruhe sucht.

Another fabulous relaxing week!

We’ve never holidayed in the same location 2 years in succession but Shoreside is so perfect for a relaxing family holiday that we had to return. The crystal clear sea is right next door and great for swimming as it gets deep quickly, the bikes, canoe and table tennis add some activities if needed. Supermarkets and many restaurants and bars are within a short walk, we followed recommendations and agreed the following were really good - Janis, Veronica’s cocktails (great chat there too) , fish restaurant next door. The house is beautifully designed with upstairs living space and a fantastic view, and lots of different spaces in house and garden - ideal for our group with adult children. Despite our usual habit of going to different places, it’s somewhere we hope to come back to in the future.

Perfect Greek Getaway

Party of 6 adults and one-year old. This villa provided great space and facilities for all with fantastic views and direct access to the quiet beach and sea. 10-15 min walk to the town where there are many Greek Tavernas. Excellent food particularly at Janis and Imerolia Fish Tavernas ( the latter is 2 mins away)! Great extras - kayak, table tennis, bbq, many dvds (not used!!), two bikes...really perfect holiday for all the family. Would definitely recommend and Robin (the owner) was very helpful...as were the welcome party (housekeepers).

Beautiful house with amazing views and beach at the end of the garden

Stayed as an extended family with young children and grandparents. Layout was ideal with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus separate sitting area downstairs plus bedroom and 2 bathrooms upstairs. The balcony is large and has views over the sea to Albania. At the end of the garden is a quiet pebbly beach. Flat 15min walk to Kassiopi harbour where there are plenty of nice restaurants and bars. House is very well stocked with everything we needed for our stay.

Super House on the Beach

Shoreside is a top property, right by the beach at Imerolia, 10 minutes, yes only 10 minutes, walk from Kassiopi. Kassiopi itself is a really nice unspoilt Greek harbour village with quality restaurants, shops and bars. Not rowdy, just nicely full of life. The house first floor is top notch, open plan, very large, well equipped and with an amazing view over the balcony to the beach, sea and Albania. Nice garden, straight on to the, albeit pebbly, beach. Just the place for a relaxing week.
