Fint hotel, servicen kunne vært bedre
Hotellet er veldig fint, standarden er bra. Men til å være 5-stjernes hotell er det noen ting som burde vært på plass. Renholdspersonalet banket på for renhold halv åtte i helgen, det burde være innforstått at det er veldig tidlig å banke på. Telefonen på rommet vårt fungerte ikke helt. Servicen og maten på frokosten varierte veldig avhengig av hvilken tid man spiste, jo senere, desto verre. Kokkene var ikke samarbeidsvillig på restaurantene hvis man hadde ønsker til rettene. Utenom det var resten bra. Rent hotell, bra beliggenhet

Historie midt i Nairobi!
Flott hotell med historie og atmosfære midt i sentrum av Nairobi. Serviceinnstilt betjening. Pekte ut hvor de mente det var trygt å gå og ikke trygt å gå, men vi valgte mest å bruke taxi. Fin thairestaurant. Fantasisk bar, med historiske elemnetr som børshistorie etc, men dessverre stengte litt tidlig på søndag kveld, vi var ferdige å spoise klokka 22, da drev baren og stengte. Fin takterasse med restaurant og basseng. Litt merkelig at de ikke hadde appelsinjuice til frokost, fikk det da vi spurte den ene dagen, ikke den andre. Bodde to netter.

Perfekt beliggenhet i sentrum!
Ligger midt i sentrum av Nairobi. Rommet var helt greit, men bar preg av å være gammelt. Flott og funksjonelt bad! Godt utvalg til frokost, men lite trivelig frokostsal og veldig dårlig service. Middagene ble spist på toppen av hotellet og maten der var helt ok, men det mangler mye på renhold og service. Dette var ikke bra nok!

Klassisk kolonihotell midt i sentrum
Sentralt beliggende midt i sentrum av Nairoibi. De har klart å beholde den gamle sjarmen fra hotellets storhetstid, når du går i gangene og i baren er du tilbake på 1920-tallet da blant annet Clark Gable og den tidens Prince of Wales tok sine drinker der. Veldig hyggelig hotell, veldig serviceinnnstilte.

Really great hotel - very clean and lived up to the 5 star name. The room was very spacious. The staff were very helpful in helping exchange money (Sara) and helping us buy our train tickets (Steve). Definitely would recommend! Thank you very much!

I thought every staff member I met was friendly and helpful; always greeting me with a smile. My room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom needs upgrading but all amenities were provided. The pool area is lovely and inviting. The gym also needs upgrading and is a bit cramped. The building itself is charming. Hotel is located in downtown which is quite busy and noisy but not where the tourist attractions are located but Ubers are readily .

Let me start off by saying... WOW. This was my first visit to Kenya, and I feel like I could not have picked a better hotel. "Property condition & facilities" only got 4 stars because they are renovating so I had to go to their sister hotel to use the pool, which also means the gym was temporarily closed. At the top of the endless list of positives: THE STAFF. I cannot say enough about the staff and how incredible every single staff member was that I encountered. I felt loved, respected, seen, cared for, and welcomed during every minute of the 4 days I was there. Eunice, Emily, Emily, Kendra, Sarah, Boneface, Beatrice, Beatrice, Samuel, Richard, Edgar... the list goes on.. and they were all SPECTACULAR! I felt like I was a part of the family. My heart was full of joy and love the entire time I was there because of the staff. The management is strong and extremely personable. The front desk staff members are dedicated, thoughtful and attentive. The concierge/porter team is friendly, quick, observant, and charming. The dining team and the kitchen team are engaging, delightful, invested and joyous. And lastly, the housekeeping team was warmhearted, hard-working and cheerful. In addition to the staff, the room I stayed in was perfect, clean and very comfortable! AND the food from the dining room not only met my expectations but exceeded them! Definitely get the breakfast option! Honestly, I cannot wait to go back. They made my trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. I wish the AC could go a bit lower ( the lowest setting was @ 16*C) for sleeping. Breakfast buffet had a decent variety. Overall my stay was very pleasant.

The most amazing quality of the Sarova Stanley is the outstanding customer service provided by the staff. The hotel is in a great location in Nairobi and the hotel itself is historic and well kept. We re-booked to stay another day before we left Kenya because we enjoyed our stay so very much. I would highly recommend the Sarova Stanley to anyone travelling to Nairobi.

Die Unterkunft ist grundsätzlich zu empfehlen. Leider hat an allen drei Tagen meines Aufenthaltes die Internetverbindung nicht wirklich funktioniert.
