The room was suitable for my needs. On day 2 of my stay on arrival I noticed 2 new towels on the bed but the floor had not been hoovered and a dirty tea cup was left on the table which was not moved from the morning

Hotel is dated and needs an upgrade desperately. Dirty walls in the bathroom. No soap in the dispenser. Beds are lumpy. Walls are thin. However very convenient location and free parking. Reception staff are friendly. Bar staff need to learn their measures, as was poured a short measure of baileys.

Great food - Terrible bedroom
The public areas were good. The food in the restaurant was good. My bedroom was cold and in poor condition. The heating unit didn't work and the bathroom light kept failing intermittently. The windows offered very little insulation for the wind and rain outside. The room was generally tired, poorly maintained and very unwelcoming.

The room could do with upto date decor... 2 chairs should be available for 2 people by the desk as only one by desk the & other was a low arm chair... & allow more on the tea/coffee tray as more milk & sugar... Overall a good tidy room lots of space for 2 adults, would use again.

Pleasantly Surprised Indeed
Hotel is located on an industrial estate which meant it was quiet on the evening and is handily placed for finding places to eat. It was akso close to the motorway allowing for a quick and easy departure. Room was tidy and quite spacious with everything we needed. Parking is very ample and close to the entrance. Staff are very courteous and polite and a wonderful stay was capped off with a very tasty buffet breakfast offering lots of choices with both the cooked and continental available. Normally not a big fan of chain hotels but i would definitely stay at a Campanile hotel again based on this stay.

The only thing that stop me from giving 5 stars is acoustics , was wondering is the door closers could be adjusted so the doors don't slam as loud , the walls seemed very thin and you could hear doors slamming till late , my daughter even commented that she could hear me talking on the phone and she was in the next room

Arrived there for a 3 day stay, the first room i checked into was full of flies. We got the room changed, the new room was dirty and the AC wasn't working. It was a difficult sleep due to the heat. I informed staff of the conditions of the room and asked them to ensure it was properly cleaned. To my surprise, the room remained the same. I followed up in complaint to which the staff once again reassigned us a new room. Having to constantly move our luggage was not ideal; it was very stressful and unnecessary. I am astounded by the fact this hotel is rated three stars. I wouldn’t even give it one. I am giving a one star review however solely because the reception staff and the reception staff ONLY were very kind, understanding and helpful. Apart from that our experience was total rubbish.

The doors in Room 025 squeaked and I purchased WD40 and applied that. The room did not appear to be properly cleaned when we entered at first. There were smarties or similar sweets lying on the carpet in the bedroom on the left side. The net curtain looked soiled.
