Great service
A great hotel in Bangalore, providing superb service, good food, a nice small garden with a pool, and flexibility. Internet speed is ok, and the office chairs in the rooms could be more suitable for work.

The receptionists are unfriendly and slow 1/4 nights in this hotel and in the suite 439 are completely annoying when I'm in the room the reason Maintenance, construction, cranes and cranes make a huge noise and the screams of the construction workers could not sleep. The hotel management did not care about the guests also the weekend. The work continues in it.

Highlights, Beautiful hotel..superb checkin progress, with traditional Indian welcome. - world class. A few staff member were amazing. Lowlights, Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there. Staff were professional but no personably. Many staff members seemed to have a no care attitude. They don’t bother greeting guests. Just busy chit chatting with each other. During our 5 night stay I tried calling but body answers. It usually takes several tries before they pick up, On the day of checkout I tried calling front desk, operator, guest services, even the duty manager but nobody picked up, I tried for more than 10 mins, my airport transport was waiting so we had to drag all our luggage ourselves. Not sure why the customer service is so inconsistent and poor at this hotel. We frequently stay at 5 star hotels and am impressed with luxury hotels in India but very disappointed with Leela Palace.

I have been a regular guest, but this time, the check in staff tried to oversell or not truthful about the upgrade (which I attempted based on email I got from Leela). it supposed to be Club room on 5th floor but sold one on 6th floor which is smaller room and noisy one compared to my original booking. it took an effort on my part to get it corrected.

As a Bangalore native, I was delighted by the fresh perspective and experience on my vacation at The Leela Palace. The staff was extremely professional, attentive, and informative (Preetham in particular). The decor was gorgeous and my wife and I appreciated the detail and cleanliness of every room and hallway. I especially loved that I could choose from several pillow options for a better night's sleep. The food options, particularly during breakfast, were just incredible - dosas, vadas and other South Indian fare along with so many western and fusion options as well. (Compliments to our breakfast host, Vishal) We're back in the US now and I'm still reminiscing of our restful stay at the Leela, the green garden, the waterfalls, and the lovely live music. Thank you so much!

The Leela is iconic, and yet reasonably priced relative to peers in the vicinity. Finest service I’ve ever benefited from. Not just personable, but catered to you as a person. They brought me not one, but two birthday cakes, and even offered to take me on a quick tour of the city on the way to the airport at no additional charge. I’m grateful to my friends at the Leela, and look forward to returning someday.

Some of the fittings need to be updated and maintained. For example, 3 of the 5 power sockets did not work - so we needed to share 2 sockets between 3 people for charging phones, smart watches, mobile phones and laptops. Some carpeted areas had worn patches. Overall, a very good hotel with some defects.

Very calm and serene environment within the city. Came for two days but ended up extending for a week! Can not forget the breakfast and food options. Room service was great. Great hospitality and very friendly and helpful staff.

Check in process was horrible as they messed up the rooms and the guests names. And because one room didn’t have the free lunch and other benefits, the billing process also got messed up. The restaurant and reception hardly had any good link to exchange information. One didn’t know what other side was doing. On the positive side, the rooms are very clean, quiet with great buffet and amenities. I wish the check in and check out process was smoother along with the billing adjustments we had to go through and waste 45 mins of extra time for both check in and check out. And also, waiting for getting the checks and food orders were longer compared to their competition. Other than that, hotel was great.
