Jungelopplevelse med privat basseng
Et magisk og avslappende hotellopphold, hvor man fikk følelsen av å bo på et historisk fort midt inne i jungelen. Upåklagelig god service og fantastiske hotellrom.

Fred, ro og ypperlig service
En herlig uke på Payogan for to voksne og tre tenåringsbarn. Fredelige omgivelser og en deilig atmosfære. Servicen på hotellet var utmerket, de ansatte var oppmerksomme, svært hyggelige, og vi fikk mye informasjon om hotellet, om aktiviteter og tips som kunne gjøre oppholdet så bra som mulig. De var behjelpelig med alt vi måtte ønske. Frokosten var variert og god, maten i restauranten var kun ok, men de fine omgivelsene og den hyggelige betjeningen gjorde at vi valgte å spise å hotellet flere kvelder. Hotellet lå ca 15 min med bil utenfor Ubud, fri shuttlebuss t/r flere ganger daglig gjorde transporten inn enkelt. Utenfor hotellområdet finnes kun at par småbutikker, ingen spisemuligheter. Hotellrommet var delikat, vi hadde toromsvilla med privat basseng. Vi savnet litt komfort på rommet, det var så få steder å sitte utover bare sengen. Rommets uteområde var veldig stort med flere oppholdsoner, verandaer og badeområder. Med her igjen manglet det sittegrupper og stoler som gjorde at man kunne sitte ute å nyte de flotte kveldene. Temperaturen, utsikten og omgivelsene var jo herlige. Men totalt et flott hotell i nydelige omgivelser. Vi ønsker oss alle tilbake.

Old but still ok
One of the first spa resorts in the ubud area and it shows, needs some tlc, but at the same time it is pretty nice and has an abandoned jurrasic park feel to it. Great villa, nice surroundings, nice staff ok breakfeast, but stay away from the resturant, expensive and disapointing!

Bali est une ile qui se remet doucement de la terrible période Covid. Les hotels ré ouvrent les un après les autres. Mais parfois trop vite. Nous étions dans une chambre avec une vue absolument horrible (voir photo) et une odeur pestilentielle dans la salle de bain. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre mais l'hotel était "complet" les 2 premières nuits. une meilleur chambre nous a été attribué la 3 eme nuit. ( celle ci bien mieux avec une superbe vue). Nous avons utilisé le service de laundry et un pantalon nous a été rendu plein de nouvelles taches. Geste magnanime du directeur de l'hotel en nous offrant ce nettoyage ( uniquement sur le pantalon bien sur... et aucune autre remise.... Une équipe "visible" composé de 80% de stagiaire. Bref très déçu de cet hotel qui sur le papier semblait excellent... Il y a certaine chambre qui ne sont pas prêtes à être relouer... Dommage...

The Good - Great views, quiet, spacious rooms, good breakfast options and a nice pool. Away from the city center which could be a good or bad depending on your preference. The bad - mixed feelings about the staff. Some were very friendly but difficult to communicate with them in English. We booked a connecting 2 bedroom villa with a pool. We were given a two floors (you have to go outside to access the stairsl with still under construction patio. When we complained we were moved to what we booked on the site - right next door to the other villa! The Ugly - a live big cockroach in the bathroom, few lizards in the room, blown fuse for all the outlets, just two towels in the bathroom (no hand towels or face towels), only two small bottles of water for brushing and/or drinking. While breakfast was delicious the restaurant menu is pretty bad - don't even bother with the pizza. We ended up getting Grab takeout the next night. Overall it's a great property but lacks simple things that could make it a 4-5 star property - amenities, good food, and service!

Lights at the pool were all broken. Hotel did not fix it until the last night so I could not swim at night. Overall, my experience was ok. Not going to stay here again for the price that I paid. There are better resort out there.

Прекрасный отель на окраине джунглей. Отличные виды с террасы. Обязательно берите виллу с собственным бассейном. Большой номер, все пожелания были учтены. Хорошие завтраки и отлично работает служба room service. Цены в ресторане вполне адекватные. Бас 4 раза в день до Убуда, прекрасная возможность для шоппинга, кому интересно. Отель очень понравился, обязательно вернемся еще раз.

Belle villa mais plus petite que sur le descriptif. Belle piscine mais vraiment trop froide... le personnel sympa à part une personne qui essayait tout le temps de nous vendre des excursions et bien plus chères qu en ville. Il devrait y avoir plus de navettes gratuites.... sinon décors magnifiques et à 10 minutes du centre en navette, donc vraiment un bon emplacement.

This was our fourth stay & it was wonderful once again. Staff are excellent, we were welcomed like family. Our villa was beautiful, peaceful & private, with lovely views across the valley to the jungle. Villas are cool & spacious. The grounds at the Payogan are magnificent. The resort isn’t walking distance from central Ubud, but the free shuttle runs on a daily timetable, so we just headed in on the 4pm shuttle for a wander around & dinner in Ubud, then caught the evening shuttle back. Thanks to Wayan for his efforts to ensure we had everything we could possibly need. This is the perfect spot for getting away from the hustle and bustle and relaxing.

Rolig beliggenhed med gratis shuttle til Ubud
Resortet er at ældre dato med flot og med masser af charme. Det har en rolig beliggenhed lidt udenfor det hektiske Ubud, men med god og gratis shuttlebus flere gange om dagen ind til byen. Personalet er venlige og værelserne fine og rumlige. Stor og lækker mogenmadsbuffet. Vi havde værelse med egen lille pool.

Was very disappointed with the resort. Villa had not been cleaned properly when we first arrived. Bathroom has probably never been cleaned.

최악의 리조트
제가 우붓 파요간 리조트 예약을 12월26일~12월29일 했었습니다. 하지만 체크인 후 2시간만에 바로 체크아웃을 했습니다. 이유는 너무 방이 더럽고 엉망진창으로 관리가 안되는 리조트였기 때문입니다. 방을 바꿔달라고 해볼까도 생각했지만 로비 상태를 보고 다른 방의 상태도 같을거란 생각에 그만두었습니다. 빌라 입구부터 엄청난 벌레들로 들어가기가 힘들었습니다. 이유인즉 나무열매들이 발 디딜틈 없이 떨어져있어 날벌레들과 개미들이 빌라 안을 들어갈 수 없을 정도로 우글거렸습니다. 빌라 안에 들어가서는 더 놀랐습니다. 개인 풀장은 청소가 전혀 되었지않아 나뭇잎들이 뒤덮고 있었고, 그 주변도 마찬가지였습니다. 룸 안은 퀴퀴한 냄새가 나고, 양치컵엔 초파리들 20마리 정도가 앉아 있었습니다. 화장실 겸 욕실은 더욱 더 최악이었습니다. 변기 앉는 자리에 누군가의 오줌이 그대로 묻어 있었고, 샤워기 물을 틀어보았는데 샤워기 버튼이 떨어져나갔습니다.(너무 더러워 제가 샤워기로 씻어버려 사진을 못찍은 것이 안타깝습니다.) 샤워기 앞에 커다란 무엇인가 움직여서 보았더니 거미였는데 거미줄이 엄청난 것을 보니 샤워기를 얼마간 사람이 이용하지 않은 것 같았습니다. 정말 눈물이 나고 너무 화가 나서 머릿 속은 아무것도 생각이 나지않았어요. 3박을 해야하는데 그곳에 있다가는 병들을 것 같았습니다. 실제로 그 2시간동안 같이 간 언니는 방 안에서 모기에 3방을 물려 발이 퉁퉁 부었습니다. 안되겠다 싶어 2시간 만에 체크아웃을 하겠다고 했지만 스텦 중 누구도 왜 그러는지 묻지 않았습니다. 더도 볼 것 없이 스미냑으로 바로 이동 했습니다. 스미냑에서도 하루 동안은 치유의 시간이 필요할 정도로 시간, 돈, 정신을 모두 잃은 하루였습니다. 많은 리조트를 다녔지만 이런 경우는 처음이라 몹시 당황스러웠습니다. 호텔스닷컴도 잘 이용하고 있었는데 불미스럽습니다. 누구도 이 리조트를 이용하지 않았으면 합니다.

Rooms need maintenance flushing toilets, lighting, power points. Rooms weren't refreshed with new drinking glasses etc. Transport to main centred Ubud expensive to organise if outside free shuttle. Lovely facility and view and staff lovely but needs upgrade to compete with newer resorts

Terrible guest-relations and hospitality.
Terrible guest-relations and hospitality. Nice territory with nice green hills and jungle view, but difficult to climb these hills when you are with two years old baby and pregnant wife. Twice the taxi was dropping us directly near our bungalow 504 which we were renting. It was very nice and convenient. But today when I was with all my family and my baby girl was sleeping the approved hotel taxi driver asked the permission to drop us directly to the bungalow. And the answer was NO. My wife and me were explaining that the baby is sleeping, that the wife if 7 months pregnant. The answer was “NO you may be dropped by the shuttle car”… Hey common! To change the car with sleeping baby and with the pregnant woman and with the bags? Why? The size of the SUV taxi car is the same as the shuttle bus. Last time the SUV taxi was dropping us directly to the bungalow with out any problem… Taxi driver was telling that he could but this time his boss is in the hotel. I was asking the boss… The answer was NO. It pity that such a nice territory having such bosses… I hope this massage will be delivered to the property owners. By the was, the a-la-carte restaurant food is not good as well. The food was very bed.

Actually for the safety and security reasons we prohibit outside vehicles nor person from entering the property, therefore we have our buggy car for servicing guest towards to the room, but depending on the situation and conditions we will consider it. In this case we should have considered your situation as an exception that we must prioritize. Très beau sur les photos lors de la reservation, mais un tout autre spectacle une fois dans les lieux . Donne l’impression d’etre à l’abandon avec des endroits très salles, inachevés et des odeurs nauséabondes. Étrangement, l’hotel est dans un écrin de verdure magnifique, des arbres et des fleurs extraordinaires ! Notre chambre avec piscine privée était superbe, propre et très spacieuse. Il faut noter un personnel attachant et très serviable.

The location is spectacular, as well as pool area and the private terrace with pool. The hotel presents some general maintenance issues, including the room, that would not be expected in a luxury hotel, which in my opinion its not, even with its luscious gardens and views. Good value for the price and breakfast buffet OK. Friendly staff. about 15 minutes from downtown Ubud.

Magnifique végétation mais hotel un peu vieillot
Nous avions réservé une villa 2 chambres, bon déjà je n'appellerais pas ça villa puisqu'il n'y a pas de cuisine ou salon pour manger. Nous avons donc pris nos quartiers dans une "villa 2 chambres" et bien wahou pour la vue : piscine à débordement avec vue sur la jungle SPLENDIDE. Par contre on voit que la chambre intérieur extérieur a du vécu c'est un peu vieillot. Nous avons dû etre changés de chambre au bout de 2 jours car problème d'évacuation dans les 2 salles de bains, impossible de tirer la chasse pendant 2 jours pas super. Nous avons donc été transférés dans une autre villa tout aussi belle et beaucoup plus grande par contre (2 suites en fait là), cette fois plus récente, mais vue moins jolie et piscine normale, mais cette fois première nuit CLIM en panne (nous avions le choix de crever de chaud ou de mettre des récipients sous la clim car elle fuyait, nous avons choisi cette dernière option, qui fut assez bruyante avec les flocs flocs : problème résolu le lendemain). Le plus de cette hotel la végétation. Le personnel est très agréable. Par le room service est très long à venir en chambre. Un système de buggy gratuit pour venir vous chercher à votre villa : service super et très rapide; Petit Déjeuner varié Par contre pour avoir cette magnifique végétation et bien c'est assez loin du centre de UBUD, compter une vingtaine de minutes en voiture

Wayan and the team were wonderful and made our stay amazing, willing to go the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect. The villas are spacious with sun terrace and private infinity pools overlooking the jungle giving a peaceful feel. The spa offers a broad range of treatments for single and couple sessions which are well worth the money. The grounds are well kept and fit perfectly with the surrounding jungle making you feel you are staying in an ancient palace. The Wi-Fi is fast and free. All in all i would say this is the best hotel in Ubud and we will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful and roomy villa
Excellent setting with very roomy and private Villa and private pool. Excellent and friendly staffs. Good selection of breakfast. Sunday dinner with traditional dance show is a good and relaxed evening on site. Otherwise, more food selections at Ubud center. Good shuttle services to and from Ubud center. Would suggest the last return shuttle at 10:15pm instead of 8:15pm. Very happy with the stay and highly recommended to others.

En pitäisi tätä 4-5 tähden hotellina. Palvelu oli loistavaa. Mutta paikka on todella vanha, pitäisi uusia monet paikat. Isoin miinus tilasimme drinkkejä jotka ei todellakaan vastannut sitä mitä piti ja maksoin saman verran kuin Suomessa. Aamupala oli todella hyvä. Mutta muuten ravintolan ruoka oli huonompaa kuin meillä mm. 3 tähden hotelleissa. Aika rahastusta oli monet asiat. Mm haluttiin auto päiväksi niin hotellilta oli 18e kalliimpi kuin matkatoimistosta. Ja lentokenttäkuljetus maksoi varmaan 3 kertaa enemmän mitä muualta ottaisi. Kuulimme kun otimme sen että se maksaisi 250 tuhatta mutta kun lähdimme se olikin 450 tuhatta tuli aika huijattu olo kun tiesi että oisi saanu tosta yli puolet halvemmalta muualta. Emme jaksaneet ruveta väitetään kun haluttiin vain kotio jo. Uskon että tällä rahalla saa parempaa vastiketta toisessa hotellissa. Hotellissa oli kyllä kauniit maisemat. Oma huone kyllä harmitti kun oma uima-allas piti olla hienolla näkymillä, mutta altaan edessä kasvoi kaksi iso puuta josta ei näkynyt mitään ja piti oman altaan varjoisena :/ kuvat oli eri huoneesta minkä olin varannut, olimme vain 2 yötä niin en jaksanut valittaa...

Great escape in Ubud
The location of the villa was great, with the shuttle bus going to the center of Ubud! Definitely a great way to explore the location. The room was relatively clean but can get humid if you don't keep the AC on which isn't great for the environment. You get your occasional gecko but we, unfortunately, spotted a large cockroach which was a bit of a downer. The pool and patio was great for early morning swimming and reading. Great for young travelers looking for a bit of luxe and not too afraid of bugs.

This was an absolute treasure! Villas were absolutely beautiful with a private pool. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They got us a driver on our first day who we ended up using for the 2 days that we were in Ubud. Absolutely loved our experience and will be back!
