The property wasn’t safe and anyone has access to the building. The doors are never locked on the outside. The lighting around the complex was non existent. The staff was extremely unhelpful and unfriendly

The back door from the parking lot did not lock so anyone could've come in. The door to the laundry area was half on the hinges and parts of the building were "not really" under construction but were open with plastic over it, etc. One of the two mattresses was totally worn out. Worse, there was no water pressure in the shower. I don't usually write reports, especially negative ones, but wanted people to know what the property was like because it wasn't reflected in the online pictures. The staff was accommodating.

UNCONFIRMED CASE: At La Quinta, we work very hard to make sure all our guests have a comfortable stay and we back it up with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We take a proactive approach by internally inspecting each room and having external pest control companies provide treatments. We apologize that during your stay you had an unpleasant experience and hope you will consider staying at La Quinta in the future.

The building must not have good insulation, I could hear every car, truck or motorcycle go by all night long. Horrible time trying to sleep!

The property seemed to have gone through a renovation but it was done on a low budget in my opinion. I found too many visible imperfections in the labor done everywhere. The lobby looked great but everwhere else l turned there would be signs of incomplete or bad patchwork done. The room had a very unwelcome and cold feeling to it. We had a double bed room. One of the beds was lower than the other which was very odd. I wanted to put my liqour bottle in the freezer but the ice in the fridge was so thick from not ever been thawed out that l could not even place a small bottle in the ice bay. The room looked generic with no pictures on the walls, the TV had Chromecast builtin but we could not be connected to it more than 5 minutes because it would disconnect itself. While l was leaving the hotel l got on the elevator to go down to my car. I accidently pressed the CALL button. A recorded voice said it was calling for assistance. It kept ringing until it stopped and said "no answer" and just stopped. Thank goodness l wasn't ill or trapped in the elevator because it was very early in morning. I would not have been found for hours.

Keys would not work. No one at the reception desk to assist. I had to wonder around to find someone to help. I even attempted calling the hotel from the lobby and listened to the phone ring with no answer or appearance by anyone.

The lady at the front desk was warm and inviting. The room was clean and well appointed. It had a large clean tub. Me and my daughter enjoyed the room. Breakfast was lame a couple grab and go muffins, nothing to special. WiFi was easy, bed was comfy.

The remodel is going well and our room was clean and pleasant, if a bit spartan--could use a small table to eat at. New furniture was efficient and comfortable. Loved the vinyl flooring! Shower was comfortable and easy to work. We did mention to your staff that neither the fridge or the microwave worked--possibly due to the construction. The room was quiet and we liked the newer shade/curtains.

The restroom door wouldn’t unlock there was pieces of paper all over the hallway there were tons of hairs on the bed and filth all around the tub and toilet, the elevator is scetchy. The staff was super nice check in was great and easy.

Not what I expected
I try to avoid hotels where a lot of construction workers lodge mainly because these hotels are in need of major repairs and/or remodeling as it was the case with this hotel. I was disappointed in the overall appearance both inside and out.

Checking in the clerk was ready for us and just handed us our keys. He was busy talking to what appeared to be a non employee female. After settling in we found that the TV didn’t work. We called the front desk and the clerk said he would be there in 10 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes we walked to the front desk to find him still talking to the female. He came to the room and explained the internet is on and off so the TV wont work properly. Then water started to pool on the floor dripping from the ceiling. We again disturbed the clerk. He moved us to another room. However, that room had uneven flooring and a smashed bathroom door. The door handle was almost falling off. It is obvious the hotel is under construction. We found the workmanship and materials to be very poor quality. Would not recommend this hotel.

Renovation in process, puddles of water make slips dangerous. Trash outside, no towel rack available, Highway noise very eviden. Staff friendly and willing. Coffee is make it yourself and breakfast is stale packaged rolls. Not La Quinta standard
