Overall poor stay. I always examine my sheets and upon examining the sheets the line bedding flat sheet (bottom) cotton quilt like sheet and then a top sheet to cover yourself. The sheet had blood on it that looked dried over. The area is full of fiends as well be careful when walking at night.

Overall the room and property was clean and fairly updated. The property was close to the boardwalk and other attractions, however, the particular street it faces is rundown and not very scenic. There is a nice fitness center but no other fun amenities such as a pool. The elevator doors a extremely slow and need an upgrade. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. I was having trouble accessing groupon through my phone and the gentleman working the front desk allowed me to use their computer to purchase my tickets for island waterpark. Another man working the barista counter was rude and just unpleasant. I decided not to even order after I witnessed him talk to a guest so rudely. There are refrigerated drinks on the side of the counter. A guest went to grab two waters and he snapped at her, saying she needed to ask first. She explained she didnt know and then asked why ask first if they're on display, as if it's grab and pay. He responded very aggressively and stated because homeless people walk/run in quickly, grab, and don't pay. She said okay, I didn't know. Then he continues to mumble rude remarks about it. To further his rudeness, he tells her if she wants water for her kids, she can go to the marketplace area and purchase water from the hotel, unnecessarily rude. Overall decent stay, however, if we visit AC again I think I'll opt for a resort hotel for access to more ameneties and restaurants in one location.

Property is dated. Our room had rusted lighting unit in bathroom with one bulb out. Tub had shower spigot at like 5 1/2 feet high so had to duck to wash hair. Drain also clogged. Area didn’t appear to be safe to walk around at night. We were group of 9 so no issue but wouldn’t want my wife or kids walking alone.

We were only there for one night for a concert and my bday celebration. The staff was very courteous and kind. I even got free parking for my bday, which I felt was extremely nice. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, the blackout curtains were Awsome. The later check out time was much appreciated. The area around the hotel is a bit shabby but we took Lyft to the Ocean casino. Overall it was good experience and we may make this an annual excursion.

Very convenient location to where we had to go. Parking lot was very convenient. Desk staff helpful. Even though paid for room in advance I received an extra hold on my card on top of hold from the hotel. Still waiting to be credited . Not happy about that .

The room was 66 degrees no matter what we set on the themostat. ! Tried to take a shower in the am but got No Hot Water! Will never return to this hotel system. They said we would get a partial refund. Prevention is worth a pound of cure.

I always have a good experience at the Marriott. It's very clean and comfortable. There are many food options here and the mini fridge is really small, hence mini. But other than that, I would stay here again.

clean hotel rooms but service not good
The hotel rooms are generally clean. However: 1. the front desk staff were absent-minded. Texting while servicing guests, therefore answers not exactly right. 2. The sign at the parking lot was confusing as it says only for staff parking but actually also for guest parking who paid parking fee 3. Room AC/Heater not working properly. Was as high as 80F, and the hotel had to send a technician in the midnight when everyone was sleeping to reset something physically in person inside the cabinet on the circuit board. It did not work for the first time and had no sleep and changed to another room, which also needed the same service which worked but the AC/heater was noisy and loud. 4. the front desk (a female in the night shift) said to check availabilty of a fan and send it to the room, but never happened. 5. The front desk female in the night shift was cool but not friendly

Had concert tickets at Hard Rock and couldn’t get a room. This was definitely a convenience right next door. Everything was great. Only complaint was the shower pressure was a bit blah. Would stay here again.
