We stayed for three nights in three different rooms.
Our first room was had a broken bed as well as rubbish under the bed, we were forced to move from it because of a leak from the room above which then soaked our bed, this happened when we got back to the hotel late at night. Our second room had a broken coffee maker and problems with the drains which made the room stink. Our third room was absolutely fine.
We have a 2 year old so moving twice was less than ideal. Upon check out I was promised a 50% refund, my booking was around £480/ €555, I thought that was fine considering the hassel we had gone through. After leaving the property I then received an email saying they would refund me £176/€208, circa 36% of my invoice.
This isn’t 50%, I went back and forth with the manager who told me he couldn’t refund any more or honor the 50% refund we had verbally agreed on as I left the property.
I literally hate having to write a bad review as EVERY member of staff was polite and helpful but after 3-4 emails back and forth and being blown off with less than they agreed to refund me I feel the whole process was disingenuous and taxing. I just wish they handled this with more integrity
