Ici au Saint Do, le bâtiment était un ancien couvent du 17e siècle :)Il arrive que la boulangerie avec laquelle nous travaillons ait encore des produits en cuisson tardive c'est pour cela qu'il arrive que notre petit déjeuner soit tout juste dressé à 7h. Cher Monsieur Claver,Je vous remercie pour votre retour d’expérience.Notre Maison est en effet située au cœur de Paris, non loin des transports qui desservent en peu de temps les lieux les plus populaire de Paris.Nos chambres sont petites mais historiques, le Saint Do est un ancien couvent du 17e siècle avec un bâtiment classé aux bâtiments de France. De plus, vous aviez réservé une chambre pour deux personnes et vous êtes venus avec votre enfant, qui compte comme une personne. Dans votre cas, la catégorie adaptée est la Junior Suite où vous auriez eu un espace convenable et adapté à plus de deux personnes.Dû à l’aspect historique de notre Maison, il n’était pas possible de placer un ascenseur d’une autre capacité en revanche il a le mérite d’exister afin de vous aider à gravir les 4 étages du bâtiment Malheureusement et indépendamment de notre volonté, la ville de Paris a augmenté considérablement les taxes de séjour qui depuis le 1er Janvier 2024 sont passées de 2,88 à 8,13.Nous vous souhaitons une belle fin de journée,Bien à vous,

This is linked to the history of our house: they are former rooms of nuns who took care of war invalids...However, during your next stay, we invite you to take 1 or 2 room categories above your usual in order to be more comfortable, the size of the rooms determining their category...As you note so well, my teams are delighted to help you during your stay. Our elevators are small because they are in buildings classified as historic monuments, and we did not have authorization to touch these stair spaces... Bonjour Vannina,Je vous remercie pour votre retour d'expérience, et tout d'abord je souhaite vous présenter toutes nos excuses.Je vous dois quelques explications.Notre isolation phonique est bien conforme aux normes 4 étoiles, mais malheureusement, depuis l'ouverture du restaurant salon dansant en face de l'hôtel fin octobre, nous avons des problèmes de nuisances nocturnes avec les gens qui sortent à la fermeture et qui parlent fort dans la rue. De nuit, cela crée un bruit qui peut effectivement réveiller. Sachez que ce problème est pris très au sérieux. Une étude a été effectuée cette semaine pour tester le bruit dans les chambres sur rue, et notre double vitrage est quasiment au mieux de ce qui est faisable. Nous allons tester, dans la chambre 15 qui est celle que vous avez eue d'ailleurs, de changer le double vitrage par une dernière génération plus performante. Ce test sera posé début janvier, et s'il est concluant, toutes les chambres de la rue en seront équipées. Je comprends tout à fait votre mécontentement, mais c'est vrai que notre installation était au mieux ce qui existe et la nuisance provient du voisinage, la problématique n'était pas simple...Enfin, sachez qu'Esmael, qui était le réceptionniste de nuit durant votre séjour, est allé voir les équipes de Thoumieux pour leur demander de se calmer, mais malheureusement cela n'a visiblement pas arrangé les choses et nous sommes navrés. La qualité de votre sommeil est une priorité de notre Maison.Je vous invite, en attendant cette modification de notre double vitrage, si vous avez un sommeil léger, à demander une "chambre calme" : si c'est noté en commentaire de votre réservation, nous y prêterons une attention particulière, en fonction des disponibilités au moment de votre réservation.Nous espérons que vos "raisons médicales" s'arrangent et vous souhaitons un bon rétablissement.Bien à vous,

Dear Maggie,We try to understand your comments but translation is difficult.I understand that you requested twin beds and having checked your reservation, my teams actually made an error. They should have redone the bed straight away, but from memory you mentioned that it was no big deal, we could redo it the next day, which was done. We are very sorry for this team error.Regarding welcome products, they are normally provided every day. For environmental concerns, we are now forced, within the framework of 4-star standards, to wait until the tubes are empty to replace them. Of course, just dial 9 to call reception and ask them for additional welcome products, we will be happy to bring them to you immediately :)Concerning hair dryers, there are some in all the rooms: they are placed in the clothes cupboards. Here too, all you had to do was ask, we would have explained it to you...Regarding breakfast, all the products required for 4 stars are available on the buffet, as much as you want and on request. The buffet is stocked with fresh local products, and we avoid abundance generating waste, but you can help yourself as much as you like and ask for scrambled eggs which are cooked to order for more freshness.Don't worry about disturbing us, serving you is our pleasure and the quality of your stay is our priority.
