The room was tiny, barley room for a bed shoved in a corner. When we woke up the window was all wet because of it. The shower was fine with warm water, and clean towels every day. Not a lot of options for breakfast. Long black hair several places in the bathroom when we arrived. The TV could only be small and in a shelve and could only be seen from one side of the bed, and half of the channels did not work. I was pregnant and even though they gave us a room on a lower floor we had to climb at least five flights of stairs (and that was only the second floor), no elevator. The hairdryer stopped working, but the next day they gave us a new one right away. On arrival we had to but a hold on our account for 20 pounds in case we ruined something in the room. We were also afraid of using the towels in case we got a little mascara on them, cause it said that we had to pay 15 pounds if we used the towels to remove make up etc. I did not like coming to a hotel that right away assumed that we would ruin stuff and that we could not be trusted. It was a lot cheaper than a lot of other hotels, so I guess this is what you get. It worked for two nights, but glad we weren't there for more. It was far to walk to the subway, but I love queens road (bayswater), right by hyde park, a mall, a movie theater, lots of restaurants, grocery stores, etc.
