Nice hotel inside the Marina
Very good hotel inside the Marina. Good access to the restaurants. Nice pool area. However, prices per nigh were really high, so we reduced our stay to the minimum.

Fantastisk hotell rett på stranden
Fantastisk hotell med flotte rom og masse bekvemmeligheter. Flott bassengområde med stort basseng og barnebasseng. En dør ut fra bassengområdet og du er rett på stranden. Mange flotte restauranter med god mat. En kjempe flott frokost buffet med alt du kan ønske deg, også champagne. Mye glutenfritt som for oss var et pluss. Vi hadde noen kjempe flotte dager her med mye sol og masse hygge.

This was an amazing stay!!! From the greeting, to the attention given - the staff are a 12 on a scale of 10!!, to the property itself, the view from my room, top notch breakfast buffet and Peppers Steakhouse restaurant. I hated to leave and hope to return. Highly highly recommended. Tivoli got Everything right!

We have been regular visitors to the Tivoli since 2005 , the recent upgrades both inside and outside of the Hotel have improved the visitor experience .Enjoyed our Junior Suite with a sea view and the excellent New year's eve event in the Conference centre featuring a very good performance by renowned Portuguese singer Pedro Abruhosa.As always at the Tivoli it is the many superb staff who always go to extra mile for you which makes our visits so pleasant . Right from star porters Jorges and Andriv to the Argo bartenders to Ricardo and Quinto at the Glee cafe and Jose at the New year celebrations they all represent the Hotel so well .Muito obrigardo to all .Difficult to find anything that was not five star during our week visit over the festive season .A Comfortable bed , waking up to the sound of the sea , strolling on the beach for thirty minutes before a high quality breakfast is not a bad start to the day .

If you are expecting true 5 star accommodation, you won’t be disappointed. Staff are very professional. Breakfast excellent. Terrific view of Marina or Sea. I prefer Marina. Very safe and convenient for all restaurants, bars and shops. A few points to be aware of - No bidet. No magnifying mirror in bathroom . No option to have a room with a bath. Worst point is the very , very bright light shining down on the balcony until 11-30pm each evening. Would I go back - Yes!

A 5 star hotel should deliver consistently across all key areas. This was not the case with this hotel. Reception .. some staff were extremely friendly others not . Breakfast the same issue with staff. Some days bananas were available other days I had to ask ? Housekeeping some days good other days the coffee cup was not cleaned. The SPA. My therapist, Vanessa was amazing but my daughter had to return to have her treatment redone. The restaurant -so incredibly disappointing. Upon arrival the manager asked us to wait while he got waiting staff to attend to us? On a positive the bar staff exceeded all expectations consistently- well done.

Was probably 5-star once, but not currently
A nice stay in a nice hotel, but was expecting much more from a 5-star hotel. Housekeeping were awful, over the course of a 7-night stay they only serviced the room correctly once, despite multiple calls to complain. Breakfast was ok, but staff inattentive and we had to go ask for orange/tea/coffee which was not available self-service. On a better note, the Glee cake bar is outstanding, by far the best part of the hotel.

The hotel has the best site in Vilamoura without a doubt. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops etc. Views of both the harbour and the beach. Breakfast has the usual standard choices however the food is not particularly hot. Peppers restaurant on site has excellent service and food, would recommend a visit although a little pricier. Down side, service at the pool bar area is particularly poor, lacking in remembering your order, no visible communication with there customers to place an order in the first place. No organisation whatsoever. If you have booked a Puro Beach room this comes with free access to both the adult pool area and beach area with better lounge chairs however you need to book your visits to these areas in advance or your turned away. Getting to your seats takes a considerable time to achieve, for some reason looking on a computer to see which chairs is yours seems to be extremely difficult to look up for the hostesses. Your a supposed to have complimentary water and fruit on arrival in both these areas. Good luck getting them before you leave your chairs for the day. Plenty of staff attending however no real work being carried out, lacks organisation also and staff either forget your order or bring it a good hour later. This seriously needs to be addressed. They are more interested in serving the public that has paid a bomb to enter rather than those who have paid in their room rate. A DJ blasts music from 3pm daily at both areas.

Hotel is nice, however I do not think it is a five star. I travelled to the Anantara last year and there is a huge difference between the 2 hotels. Still a nice hotel though
